If it's not too much to ask, and if you do go back to Rudi's Sel De Mer, could you ask if they make birthday cakes for guests who request them? We are celebrating my husband's birthday and wanted to surprise him with a cake. I know  I can buy it in advance if I call the reservations number, but apparently the cake can only be delivered to the ship on  embarkation day. 

I’ve talked with Guest Services today and was told that NA will continue to sail until probably February. They didn’t  know exactly when, but they were  positive it would go into dry dock before the T/A crossing. I,too, have a feeling the ship will continue  to operate until the winter season ends. 
 

As far as the vibrations go, I honestly have not felt anything unusual.On the contrary, the cruise has been very smooth so far.

Sorry for the double post, but it looks like they are still selling cruises on the Jan 11th sailing of the NA.  I did notice yesterday, that the Jan 4/5 sailings of other HAL ships looked like they had been blocked out.  All categories were showing "sold out" which I think is a bit odd for a non-peak cruise on 4 ships.  But, if the Jan 4th cruise was getting canceled, I would imagine that they would have notified guests by now.  

You are making a good point, Fredric. I will ask again at the guest services. Hopefully, I will have an answer by tomorrow. 

So far, the only problem we had was arriving about 2.5 hours late yesterday in Half Moon Cay. Everything else has been fine. FYI, I am glad they didn't cancel the cruise, but I wish they were upfront about the azipod issue. 

I am on NA, and we were just escorted by tugs from Falmouth. They never told us about issues with the azipod, but I knew about it from this thread before I left. I was told by the staff that it will complete the next itinerary and then it will go into dry dock.
