Thanks for the feedback - did all the maths and rebooked today. Saved $500 after factoring in buying one PDP for the wife, kept the same room we wanted and got free pass to a specialty restaurant which we've never done before. So a decent result!

Looking for a bit of feedback from you more experienced bargain hunters! Wife and I booked the 10 day Panama cruise in March 2020 a few months back when Princess offered the ‘inclusive’ (though they called it free!) drinks package that we’d enjoyed on previous cruises. Since booking it I’ve decided to abstain from alcohol for health reasons, even when on vacation.

Wife will still make good use of her package, but I feel mine is a waste now aside from my morning coffee (which in all honesty I could live without) from the IC.

I assume special offers are not known in the future, but I think they seem to follow a certain pattern? For our situation what be the best one to look out so we can evaluate the savings from cancelling and rebooking (and just buying one drinks package)?

We booked with a future cruise deposit so don’t know if that is no refundable or not?

Any advise?

We have a full day (depart at 11pm) in Honolulu on our upcoming cruse, we have a Princess excursion in the morning but were hoping to maybe spend the afternoon on the beach - we won't have a car so if we can walk to one or take a short Uber that would be great - any recommendations on which beach to hit?

We'll eat dinner on the ship and then head back into town in the evening, any recommendations on what to do in the evening?

The reason many of us book Princess cruises is the fact there is not a lot of activities for teens. ;)

I would use your US address for all passengers

And book both cabins at once in 1 booking

Are you going to take the expensive option and book direct with Princess?

There is a cheaper way to book a Princess cruise without using Princess direct? Do tell!

I’m considering taking my parents who are British and live in the UK on an Alaskan cruise. Though originally from the UK I’m now an American citizen.

We’d be in two separate rooms (for my sanity!) when cruising and I’m wondering if there is any issue with me booking for them using the US website?

Norris, just joined CC and loved reading your review of the ABC cruise. I was drawn to it as I sailed the same cruise a few weeks after you! It was like cruising it again! Fellow expat, from Wales here and coincidently in Chicagoland too, so loved the craic and humour!

Thanks for taking the time to write and publish all your photos as they were stunning and mine were crap at best! I’ll have to look up your over reviews.
