Obviously you are all eating it wrong! You need to order it along with a serving of peanut butter.—-and ice cream.

I agree. I used to just eat it with ice cream, but once someone told me about the peanut butter on the side, oh, wow! It is SO good. I do wish they could be consistent with it, though. First night it's usually perfect and from then on, it's usually over- or under-baked...still, good, though!!

Just got three emails canceling my cruise on Discovery Princess scheduled for Nov 3- Nov 24 due to deployment changes. Still have one more cruise booked on the Discovery Princess for January 24, 2022  that was not part of the flurry of cancellation notices.

Just wait. It's coming. We were booked for Jan. 6th - Feb.7th. Cancelled. I can't find another Discovery sailing until March from LA.

I received my email this afternoon.  My New Year cruise is now on the Regal and I $15 which I believe will cover the wine and chocolate sampler at Vines.  Happy to still be on the same itinerary.  I have not sailed on the Royal class yet.  Regal here I come unless COVID cancels cruises through New Year.

We have been on the Regal twice...once for a transatlantic to Russia and Scandinavia. It's a great ship!! We were really upset when they took her away from Fort Lauderdale. We booked the Discovery for the same cruise you had, although we were staying on for the 32 day South America cruise, now obviously cancelled (with no replacement ship). Like you, I have no idea how I will ever spend all of that $15!!😂 It will be interesting to see how much drink prices rise when cruising begins again. Hopefully, we will get free champagne at midnight!!😂

Princess shore excursions in St. Petersburg were great, admittedly some years ago.  The tour guides were wonderful!  Especially wonderful sites were Peterhof Palace and also the Hermitage.  It was wonderful to not have to worry about tickets or communicating.  Take Princess tours or shore excursions.🙂🌝🛳😊🚢🙂

We did that just last month. I highly recommend the Princess 2 day St. Petersburg tour!!

  5. I am elite and my husband is platinum. When we sailed with another couple in December (neither person was elite or platinum) and tried to use my priority tender disembarkation for Princess Cays, I was told I could take one non-elite guest with me. Obviously, that was my husband. We just opted to wait with the rest of the passengers so we could all take the same tender, as I had booked 4 clam shells so we could be together for the day. So, in essence, 1 guest per elite passenger.

If I was going to do a world cruise, I would not limit myself to looking at Princess. I would look at other lines and compare what everyone is offering (internet, self serve laundry, tips, etc...). In the end, it maybe Princess what you select but I would not just go there and not look elsewhere.

We booked the 2021 WC the day it was offered to Elite Princess passengers. It was already selling out quickly. As Elite passengers booking at that time, we got free gratuities, stateroom upgrade, free unlimited Wi-fi, $500pp onboard credit, 4 specialty dinners, 4 bottles of wine, and the other perks allotted to Elite passengers, such as free laundry, priority tender disembarkation, free mini-bar set up for each cruise segment, etc. Plus, the itinerary is fantastic, even with a few repeats, like the Panama Canal and the Hawaii/Tahiti segments. I don't use the gym, so I could care less where they put the thing, and although my husband does use it, he wasn't concerned with the location. As far as the IC, as long as we can get our specialty coffees and find a nice place to sit and drink them, we're fine! As they add more and more activities in the Piazza, especially on the larger ships, sitting near the IC becomes harder and harder anyway. On our last TA, other than cappuccinos, I think we walked up and got a few cookies one time in 23 days, only because they had oatmeal raisin ones and the buffet didn't that day, so it's not really a food venue for us. I doubt we'll starve without it!!😂
