This was really helpful, thank you so much. Even though it sounds a little rough it is exactly what I was hoping for. Something still untouched by commercialism. I will contact the resort as I would like to take things that might be helpful to the locals. did they happen to mention specific needs.

We are booked for this new years eve cruise also. Traveling with kids in a the same age group. I have tried to find information on Trujillo to prepare for excursion and have found very little in regards to reviews. Hoping someone who has already been here can add insight..
