This year is the first that we decided not to play Hurricane season what is that. We had a boston to Bermuda cruise a couple of years ago that I knew was not going to Bermuda but did not know where to until got on the ship. We went to Bahamas. A June 1st trip to Florida with tropical storms, and trip to WDW just missed hurricane by days. Planning a Boston to Bermuda next April on Easter week

I looked again and the Boston to Bermuda cruise started the week before I want to cruise so it may be the Boston to Bermuda 7 night on the Norwegian Gem I may take my DD and SIL and my other DGd in 2 cabins

its only the younger granddaughter's first cruise but you are right i don't think I feel comfortable having a Booze cruise for the 14 year old a little too young i think I may try to find a 7 day

Thank you for the replies. Yes I was talking about doing a couple of days in the departure port. I can do a longer cruise I originally was going to do 6 days at WDW but with airfare meals and what nots we figured staying at our usual mod resort was going to cost about 9000. and my younger dgd has never been on a cruise. This is early planning for me I usually do about 3 months or less for vacations

I am planning a spring trip for my 2 DGD ages 7 and 14 during the April vacation They both have flown on planes and do well NH is later than most places for vacations and its pretty muddy at the end of April. I was thinking of maybe a 4 day cruise and a couple of days in port. any ideas ?

Have you tried passporters they have a lot of WDW info and there are other message boards for Disney such as DIS and mouse ears

If we head north I can call home and have someone meet us with warm clothes this trip to Bermuda was in place of usual trip to disney but I can always find my way there.

I am going on a 7 day cruise in Oct. We are sailing out of Boston so no hotel or airfare. It will be my DGD and I so probably not much gambling and we will go on some excursions We will see how it compares to the past WDW vacations we stay on site and get a dining plan of course go to the parks.

I have an assignment for my Gty for the Dawn Oct 17th do they ever change them after you get one? It is midship and on deck 5 I think that is good so not feel the motion too much.

my grand daughter is 10 and has traveled with my DH and I to WDW and with my SIL to her house in Florida but she has never been on a cruise. This is my first NCL cruise, my second cruise to Bermuda. It will just be the 2 of us traveling.

This sounded great. I am going with my DGD in Oct.and may see if she wants to do the children program a couple of days. I think if she sees what the things she can do and not have to spend all her time with the "old lady"

My DGD would like to be able to Skyp home while we are gone using her Ipad. I think a MB would be best since she would just talk to her mother and sister for a couple of minutes but if we do it for a day she would not be able to talk as often. We would not be checking emails or anything else Do they let you know when you are running low on data? We are on the Dawn in OCt,

I booked a cruise to Bermuda in Oct and my fear is there will be a storm which will make me go to Portland Maine - an hour from my house instead of heading south
