    Puzzle break was ok. I'm used to rooms that follow a progression. This one all clues seem to be at once. Worth doing bc it's free. 4 people walked in with no reservations. We did rising son catamaran and took the ferry to Hamilton. We were also there on a Monday and went to snorkel park at night. Party with the locals and crew of the ships in port.

    Just got off this sailing. My thoughts

     

    Spectra show was not good...not worth going early to get a seat that's for sure.

     

    Do bumper cars first day...no line at all could ride as many times as you want.

     

    Pool bar ....look for Cheryl and Putu with the drink cart. Awesome service!

     

    Rock hall was our hang out every night. Really enjoyed our time there. 70's night super fun!

     

    Room service breakfast was blah.

     

    Ate at coastal kitchen. Best food of the trip. Had "K" as our waiter. Cannot say enough about how great he was. If eating there request him...

     

    Wonderland was underwhelming to say the least. Couple things were really good...rest was mediocre. Service was painfully slow. Highlight was actually K from coastal kitchen coming down to say hello and he brought us 2 bottle of champagne!

     

    We pre booked ifly north star and puzzle break. But talking with others they were able to book those things when they got on the ship.

     

    Drink package definitely worth it if you like to hang at the pool all day and dance all night. Most drinks cost 9 ton13 dollars each.

    70’s Night on Anthem?

    So I'm going on Anthem this Saturday. Only a five night. My friends and I are bringing 70s outfits. We enjoy dressing up so if they don't we will probably use them for a Halloween party or something. Who knows maybe we will rock them on a random night;)

    Also recieved email from Ricardo, today, for next weeks cruise. How long does it typically take for response?
    Can't believe we have 1 week to go! I'm traveling with 4 friends. None of them have cruised before so I'm hoping they love the experience as much as me! What kind of suite are you in if you don't mind saying? Because there are 5 of us we booked the 2 bdr. Just send my requests, I'll see how long till the response.

    I have seen some discussion about when the concierge will contact you if in a suite. I am exactly 1 week before sailing and got the email today. I have already pre arranged a couple shows, ifly, north star, and wonderland. I am going to ask Ricardo if he can set up a reservation for escape room and a standing reservation for CK around 7 PM. Those where the only 2 things I couldn't seem to do online.

    Bathroom amenities in a suite

    Gilchrest and Soames Body lotion, shower gel and shampoo. the typical hotel size bar soaps. getting extra is ridiculously easy.

     

    I don't mind the shower gel or lotion, saves me packing room. but my hair is finicky so I bring my own stuff.

    Yeah I will for sure bring my own hair supplies. Maybe use their body wash. Do you find it dried out your skin? Trying to downsize my packing a bit. I realize for a 5 night cruise I have a lot of stuff!

    Anthem of the Seas -5 night Bermuda out of Bayonne

    Hello,

     

    We will be going on the Anthem in June on a 5 night cruise to Bermuda. I am looking for information about the cruise from those who have done it already. I am particularly interested to see if anyone has copies of the cruise compass from the 5 night Bermuda cruise.

     

    If anyone has any other information, fire away! What is the good, the bad and the ugly?

     

    We will have a group of 17 that will be in 6 balcony cabins in a row. Our group includes two grandmothers and one grandfather (mid to late 70s), three couples in their late 40's/early 50's, and then the "young" people. 23, 21, 20, 20, 18, 18, 18, 17. :):)

    I have not...yet. I'm on the April 28th. Would love info too!
