  1. Most of the activities Royal is adding to their new ships to make it a destination, do not interest me. I have no desire to use the FlowRider, rock-climbing wall, zip line, ice-skating rink, etc....

     

    I priced my cruise in April on both Royal and Carnival. It was $1,000.00 more for my family of 3 in a balcony on Royal.

  2. Samantha has severe food allergies to squash, zucchini, and most fruits. In the past she has had help from the assistant maitre'd in going over the menus in advance and selecting appropriate food for her. If they can make something without the ingredient she is allergic to, they will.

  3. anyone been lately? we leave Sunday. Boarding time still 12 noon? Last year they let us on around 11:50

    We got on about 11:45 on 3/2. On 3/9 Conquest was late coming in, we got off some time after 1:00. I don't remember the exact time, but I know it was 2:30 before we got through customs, picked up our car from Lighthouse parking and hit the road. There was a long line of people waiting to board.

  4. Has anyone heard about a man being airlifted from the Conquest last week? One of my co-workers told me that his uncle was airlifted last week from the Conquest.. Don't know what the reason was.

    We were on the 3/2-3/9 sailing. We did not hear anything about an airlift. There was an ambulance on the pier in Cozumel.

  5. Okay, I need to get my parking booked for our cruise this weekend. Anyone have strong feeling for/against EZ Cruise or Lighthouse?

     

    We're just back from the Conquest. We used Lighthouse this time. We used EZ Cruise previously. The service at Lighthouse was great. The shuttle bus picked us up at our car and loaded the bags for us. After the cruise they loaded all of our bags for us and dropped us off right by our car.

     

    Lighthouse's lot is raised. EZ Cruise's lot #2 is not raised.

     

    The bus driver did say that it is best to get advanced reservations. They are filling up every week and are having to turn people that don't have reservations away.
