  1. Maintenance was done to the system last weekend. There have been some intermittent issues since that time with a few areas within the consumer site and agent site.  Fly2fun being one of the things having issues.

TAs and PVPs are getting the same error as those using the consumer site for now.  Hope that helps.

  2. So were torn about what to do.

We looking at 2 sailings: Freedom 8 night sailing which will do a Southern Caribbean itinerary ( Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, Bonaire and Aruba) vs. Horizon 6 night Western Caribbean Sailing going to Ocho Rios, Cozumel and Grand Cayman.

    Heres our situation:

Several adults going, most of which are late 30s in age to late 40's in age.

All of the adults are pretty active.

Children ranging in age from 6 years old to 11 years old

We were initially supposed to sail this year on the Breeze ( that has been cancelled ) so the Freedom will be sailing the exact same itinerary that the Breeze wouldve done this year

We love the itinerary but we don't care for the smaller ships.

After sailing the Breeze and even the magic we knew that we didn't want to sail anything smaller than Dream Class of ships.

We have never been to Bonaire or Aruba so again that itinerary is definitely inviting.

We've never sailed on the Horizon however we have been to all of the ports that it will visit on this itinerary.

We love the thought of a newer bigger ship but the itinerary is just " ok " for us.

Also we only get 6 nights with this sailing instead of 8 with the Freedom.

We've taken a vote amongst our group and we're dead split 50 /50

Any thoughts on the 2 ships

Will we miss having more activities choosing the Freedom?

Hows the condition of the Freedom??

Any suggestions / recommendations are appreciated.

The app is not compatible with the current website. It has not worked since the introduction of the new website. Use your browser.

As far as I know all users have the anonymous setting. Your posts will be visible and seen by others. Other users will not be able to see what if any thread you are browsing. For context, when the new website first appeared one could hover over a user avatar and a popup window would include the last login date and currently viewed thread, if any. Several users objected to this and the setting was changed to anonymous. I don't believe this is a user alterable setting.

Thank you so much for the information.

    I greatly appreciate it.

  4. I installed the App into my Android phone, however it will not allow me to log in.

I am able to log in just fine on my laptop just not the app. I tried to reset my password on the app however it says user not found, however I was able to reset it on my computer.

    Nothing has helped.

Also on my computer when I go into my profile  I noticed a small icon that looks like an eye next to my profile pic. It says that I am anonymous and will not be seen on any list. What does this mean? Will my post be seen? Im not even sure if this post will be seen.

    Help please

  5. I never ever knew who the cruise director was on any of the ships that weve sailed until a few years ago on the Magic. We had Rev Dr E and he was awesome. That was our  first experience of truly enjoying a cruise directly. since that time weve only had 1 other that was great "Kendall Fire"

They don't make or break the cruise for me but a good one can make it much more fun

    • Weve purchased the Chat feature within the app for our last few cruises. It definitely works better on some ships than on others. We noticed on some ships that although you would send a text to someone, they may not get the message until hours later. However last year on the Breeze the messages seemed to go through instantly with no issues. So the chat feature is definitely hit or miss.  We do love the access to the funtimes on the app as well as the menus and just overall knowing whats going on without having to carry around that piece of paper. I hope they eventually add the Camp Carnvial info. That would be a big help.
  6. Hello everyone we are fresh off the Breeze and will try to answer questions if you have them. We had the pixels max package and took our 6 year old son. We did not see any of the shows. We did do the majority of the kids stuff.

We will be on the breeze for Thanksgiving. I was wondering about that Pixels package.

From what I read in the fine print, on the Breeze all of the photo prints that you receive will be 8x10's is this correcct? Also were you given your canvas print while on board or will it be mailed to you?

  7. Carnival offers an ATV Adventure & Beach excursion out of Nassau (it looks like it goes to Clifton Heritage National Park) for $124.99pp. The reviews are great, and I'm tempted, but I'm wondering if there is a recommended third party group on shore that might be less. $125 seems pricey, as it doesn't include a meal. Have any of you guys taken this tour, or can you recommend a competitive offering?

Any luck finding a company that offers and ATV Excursion?

  8. Both of mine happened in the food area on the Lido deck.

The first one was this older couple. They had apparently just come out of the pool or hot tub. Soaking and dripping wet...no towel...walks up to the buffet line to fix plates and eat off of the plates while standing in line...while dripping wet.

    Ewwwww...grab and towel first...geesh

The second was just last Thanksgiving on the Magic. A kid, just like the one CWhitlock saw, put his mouth under the ice cream dispenser while his buddy pulled the lever. I told one of the workers behind the buffet bar and he came over to take care of it

  9. You could always book the balcony you want and then simply an inside close by. Then put one adult and one child in each, at least on paper. That would be a heck of alot cheaper than 2 balconies.

This is exactly what we did on our last cruise.

There are 5 of us ( 2 adults and 3 little ones)

    When I booked our cabins I did (room #1 with 2 kids and 1 adults and then Room#2 1adult / 1 kids

I made shore to choose the Balcony cabin with 2 pulldown beds so that we would all be able to just sleep in 1 room.

We basically used the other room almost for just storage LOL

The kids loved the beds that were "up in the air" as they called them and hubby and I had the King below.
