  1. I agree that entertainment wasn’t up to what I had become used to on NCL. No Beatles(sick), no Broadway quality show. Burn the Floor was excellent. Cruise director was fun, food in specialty restaurants was very good.
I feel for the staff. They must be short handed as lines for bars and buffet were long at peak times. I did not encounter anyone (who was service staff ) to be rude but did see lots of ugly behavior from the passengers, so quick to judge. Many times we would have preferred Taste but their hours didn’t work with our hunger!

NCL has always been our go to cruise option but I can see things changing and not in a good way.
I’d rather see upgrading the current fleet service wise and give the new builds a hold. We deserve it as loyal passengers.

  2. Thank you so much! We arrive on 2/02, sail 2/5, spending a few days in San Juan beforehand. I can sleep tonight! You made my day.

So if the cruise originates in Puerto Rico and ends in Puerto Rico I have no worries about other countries that the ship takes us?

  3. I will be on the Epic on 2/02/2023. My passport will expire at the end of July 2023. I didn’t realize until today that you need to have at least six months at the time of travel left before your passport expires. Before I drive  3 hours to get an expedited passport because of this I wondered if Puerto Rico would be an exception to the rule.
Anyone have an info that they can share? I”ll be calling about it tomorrow but would sleep better knowing I may  not have to jump through the hoops.
    Stressed out!

  4. There are many hotels in the area around Waterloo Station. It is convenient to Big Ben, (under renovation) Westminster, etc. I have stayed at the Marriott County Hall and it was wonderful.Waterloo station is right down the street.

  5. Since you have a TA I would tell her to make NCL aware. I believe I noted it on the registration documents. They will also do a private muster drill in your room if you wish. I would certainly take advantage of the  expediated check in. Those lines, noise and lighting  can be a nightmare for our kids. Also contact the Access Desk for any additional assistance you may need.

    Happy sailing.

  6. Our biggest concerns with our son are usually social, his interactions with others can be awkward. Some people get it, some don’t. Explaining to him to not talk to a girl at the hot tub if she is with a guy or to put his arm around her can be problematic( aka, Joe Biden! ) He means no harm, he just thinks he’s being friendly.

I guess we all could use some lessons in social skills!

Still glad to know that NCL is making travel with kids/adults less stressful. It means the world to our families, right, Edspec?

    Just be kind.
