Thanks to the great info given here, DH and I enjoyed a day at the Sheraton on a day pass in November and used the #10 jitney for transportation. We will be in Nassau again in May with our teenagers and two of their friends. I'd love to take them to the same beach, however our ship doesn't arrive till1:30pm and I know the Sheraton is the Melia now. How late can you stay at a resort on a day pass and how late does the jitney run? Also having two kids that aren't my own adds extra responsibility. Is it safe to stay at the resort till say 7pm and return using the jitney? The other option would be the Blue Lagoon ship excursion, but the cost is more and my teens like going from the beach to the pool.
