Hi fellow CC members.
Could anyone please supply me with the email address and or the name of the QM2 Onboard Customer Services co-ordinator.
I wish to run an M&G on board the QM2 but am having difficulty in contacting anybody at Cunard to set it up.
Would be very grateful if you can help.

Hi there,
We are on the Royal next May from LA to Vancouver.
Has anyone done a day trip from San Diego to La Jolla off a princess cruise port day?
(Not an official excursion)
Did you use a bus or other modes of transport?
How long did it take and is there any areas particularly that would be worth visiting.
Hope you can help.
Regards from sunny London UK

Hi, it is interesting to note that the price was different than what was listed in the cruise personaliser for both Vietnam and Cambodia. Vietnam visas are US $31 per person and Cambodian visas are US $40 per person. If I recall correctly, this is significantly less expensive than listed in the personaliser.

I ordered OBC for ourselves without any problem. In fact it was so easy that I came to the conclusion that Princess' web site is far superior to Celebrity's!
I think the problem may have been the lack of Booking reference, as they could then log in as if they were you.
Hi Barbara & Graham,
We are CRUISE4TWO, Lynda & Marty from N.W. London
We are all set on the T/A cruise 21st October and then carrying on for the 5th Nov Caribbean cruise.
We live in Wembley so as you are in Bedfordshire you are up the M1 or A1 ? We just came back last week from Nottingham passing through beds.
Anyway, we are really looking forward to re-joining the Royal after a T/A from FLL - Barcelona in April which was fantastic and the ship is beautiful. We are flying in from Heathrow on BA on the morning of the 21st.
Hope you have been enjoying the hot weather in Southern England although, it's a bit of a wash out today.
So look forward to meeting up with you both at the M &G.
Regards from Wembley

Hi,
We did a Princess transfer from Copenhagen Airport to the port in September this year and the ground staff were amazing. Polite, efficient, attentive and genuinely interested in us, smiling and chatty. Checking in was very smooth as well.
We also disembarked at Copenhagen to the Airport about 2 years ago and the organisation and smoothness of the whole set up there was a pleasure, quick and stress free compared with the nightmare and chaos of entering the USA at Ft. Lauderdale.

Thanks, everyone.
I'm glad to hear there are lectures on these. I've enjoyed those on our cruises to Alaska and the Panama Canal, but on those there were obvious things to talk about. So it's interesting that they still offer some kind of talks. And it sounds like they have port talks beyond the dreadful "shopping talks"?
Paul. Thanks for the invite. I'd joined the roll call just before I posted this question. We look forward to meeting everyone.
Jim
Hi Jim,
We are going to be on both cruises as well. We love the days at sea and there is always something to do or of course you can just watch life pass bye (till the next meal)

Hi there,
We flew into Miami at the end of March on the ESTA programme and they now have self service machines there for you to do everything yourself, photos taken, hand prints recorded and paperwork typed up by yourself. There are Customer Service reps going up and down and helping you and we were through in about 15 minutes. Hope that helps.

Hi,
We fly to Miami from Heathrow at least once a year.
You should be signed up with ESTA, the US replacement for the Visa Waiver program ( I think)
When we flew in April, we were expecting the usual long queues but instead we were through in 10 minutes.
There are now banks of self- service machines.you follow all the easy instructions.
You place your passport in a slot just as an officer would do. When that is finished it asks you to look at a lens, a light comes on and your face is approved.
Finally, you place your fingers and thumb on a pad.
I f everything is OK you are through.
If you do something wrong if prompts you to do again or moves you along.
So very quick unless I suppose you have a problem but there are customer service people along the line showing available machines it answering any questions.
The wonder of technology

Thank you all very much.
Further to that, would like to know if anyone has used "Watercolours Dive Centre", "Malta Blue Diving" or Dive Shack.
Very grateful for your experiences.

Hi,
we are on a cruise in August cruise and calling in Malta.
My son-in-law and 11 year old son are considering using 'Dive Malta' near Valletta to go on their half day 'Padi Scuba Diving course'. They collect you from the port and return as part of the package.
Has anyone used this Company and would be very interested to hear what you think of them as safety is the No.1 priority. Of course if you have been on another course that would be helpful as well.
Thanking you in advance

I agree about the short synopsis being printed. But better if the cruise director or one of the actors came out at the very beginning of the show and gave the short synopsis orally.
It was a well done production yes long but I am glad I stayed.
I am afraid that you will be lucky if you see the Cruise Director, Drew as on our T/A he hid himself away for most of the cruise and when he did come out he was nothing like a Cruise Director I have ever seen. Not a people person, I'm afraid.
RESERVED THEATRE SEATING WITH THE NEW PACKAGES
in Princess Cruises
Posted
Hi there,
Does anyone know how the new "reserved seating " which you can take advantage of if you are on one of the new Premium packages.
When you enter the Princess Theatre,
Will your medallion be checked to see what package you are on.
Can you select either of the 2 shows to visit or will you be told which one is your show.
Where will these "Reserved seats" be located and what percentage of the seats will be reserved?
I am thinking that if I am not on the packages, I will be at a disadvantage to get a seat and may have to stand at the back.
Interested in hearing from Princess on how it's actually going to work, from passengers who have experienced visiting the Princess Theatre or your general thoughts.
Regards
Marty
