I have checked out the different drink packages for Mediterranean cruise in March but I thought that I seen somewhere that you can purchase 12 packs of alcoholic drink coupons that come out a bit cheaper than the 6 Euros for regular beers/spirits, does anyone know of this offer?

Hi my brother and I will cruising in March and yes I read some terrible reviews on food, just about anything, but I have since read that MSC is aware of that they have dropped the ball in a lot of areas and apparently have addressed the numerous areas of complaints, especially the food.

I'm doing a W Med cruise in Sept and have found over a dozen companies thru these forums ..... use the search tool to find old trip reports ( "w med review" or 'w med report' ), or go to MSC forum and look at Meraviglia threads.  I also bought Rick Steves book on Med Cruise ports, and borrowed a few travel books from the library. 

A little research will make you more comfortable about excursion choices.  

My brother and I are first time cruisers, we have booked 7 day cruise on MSC Meraviglia from Genoa, we are novices and are looking for any information as to independent onshore excursion operators, most especially from Civitavecchia/Rome, Barcelona, Marseille, what criteria we should follow, any warnings in booking one.

Another credit card option that has no annual fee and only charges exchange rates with no additional fees is Home Trust Visa. I also have my mortgage with them, very good rates.

My brother and I first time MSC Meraviglia cruisers and would like recommendations for a reputable, reasonably price onshore  excursion operator(s) for March 31/19 to Civitavecchia/Rome, and Barcelona Spain, greatly appreciate any direction you can offer, Mick.
