  1. I definitely agree that Clarea deserves much credit. Always positive and probably the fastest responder on the board. As for merion_mom, I appreciate her positive attitude - but she can bring down the hammer when it's necessary, too. :D

Hilarious. No, you do not want to mess with merionmom. She can definitely bring it when she has to. LOL :D:D

  2. There are many threads spotlighting Royal Caribbean’s captains, CDs, concierges, cabin attendants, bartenders, etc. but I don’t recall seeing one spotlighting any of our fellow RCCL Cruise Critic members (I could be wrong)! So, I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all of the helpful RCCL Cruise Critic members who take the time to write reviews, answer questions, post pictures, etc. I’m in the process of planning my 10th cruise and wouldn’t be able to do it without all of this great information. I just realized this yesterday when I was searching for information on Aruba and Arubalisa’s name kept coming up with great information and comments. She kindly (never condescending) answers all questions—even though they may have been previously asked. Do you have someone favorite that you’d like to thank, give a high five to?? Or, you can just give a generic thanks!! :)

This is an old thread but I must say thanks to clarea (Bob) for all of the great information. Always answering questions without being rude or condescending. Thank you!

  3. We will be in Curacao on 12/15/10 and would like to spend the day at hotel to use their facilities/snorkel/lunch. Any suggestions? And can you just walk in or do you need a day pass?

Was in Curacao last week and got day passes for Breezes. They were $75.00 each. Turned out to be a waste of money. I didn't like the food or the drinks (served in 4 oz plastic cups). Bartender was very nice though. The place seemed a bit run down. Some parts of the pool were a bit moldy/mildewy. Kids in diapers using the hot tubs as swimming pools. You can probably find a much better non-all inclusive hotel and just buy your drinks/food. Total round trip to get there was $6.00 for two people. We caught the local bus/van near the floating market. One guy wanted to charge us $20.00 for a taxi one way.

  4. 29 days for the wife and I, cannot wait. I cannot believe this post is still going, I love it, it always get people in a good mood about their upcoming cruises. Have fun on your cruises everyone.

  6. 1. Don't like having to take tenders to the port.

    2. Don't like the same games, over and over and over on every cruise. I would be more than happy to help them develop some new games. If you cruise a lot they just get old very quickly.

    3. Don't like rude cruisers. ENJOY YOUR VACATION PEOPLE!!:)
