The Yacht club is great.  You will enjoy it.  Much better food and service than without.

I took an MSC cruise right before the pandemic and it was fabulous.  I booked in the Yacht Club and the cost was very reasonable and the service excellent.  Took 2 Viking Ocean cruises in 2021 and we preferred the MSC Yacht Club experience (which was a better value).  Going on MSC again in May (again in the Yacht Club) and looking forward to it.  I would try MSC and if it is available, book in the Yacht Club. 

Has anyone sailed in the Jewel of the Seas 2 bedroom owners suite?  We just booked cabin 9656 for May 2022 and would love to see a review of the 2 bedroom suite.  Also what perks come with that suite?  Thanks

RJROMAN: We are on the Aug 28th cruise as well.  My husband likes to be casual and comfortable...we will sit by you!

This is a question for Readsalot....  I am on the 8/28 sailing also.  How did you cancel if you are within 14 days?

Concerning tipping....did you tip in Euros or the Icelandic currency?

Hello.   We are new to Viking and are debating about the beverage package. We are fine with house wine for dinner and lunch and do not drink much but we are wondering about soda.  Is it readily available?  Should we purchase the drink package although we are mostly soda drinkers?  

Did that letter come by postal service or e-mail?  I have a cruise slated to leave July 5 and have heard nothing.  Just NAR when I go to the website.

All I've had from MSC at the moment is the cancellation notice saying that the FCC I booked the cruise with will be honoured. There is no additional offer mentioned in the notice, and apparently I must rebook by 30 September 2021 which I think is an unreasonable deadline.

When the time comes for you to sail with us again, it is mandatory for all UK guests to be in possession of Covid-19 travel insurance prior to their holiday with us. Please note that policy must specify Covid-19 cover. While we hope there is no need to use it, you must ensure your policy covers your holiday from booking through to the end of their cruise. This will ensure total peace of mind for you knowing you are fully protected.

The cost for YC depends on the itinerary.  On my Med cruise it was under 1000 each.  I would definately do the cost comparison.

I would recommend MSC Yacht Club.  You get treated like royalty and the cost is very reasonable.  The Yacht Club gives you the experience of being on a small luxury cruise yet if you want the ammenities of a large ship then they are available.  The YC features separate dining room, pool deck and lounge for YC passengers which is lovely because there are not the crowds and finding a deck chair was never an issue.  I particularly liked the embarkation process for YC and the escort on and off the ship so there was no waiting in long lines.  On Meraviglia there were dedicated elevators for YC as well. We sailed MSC out of Barcelona and it was mostly European passengers.  I enjoyed that.  Treat yourself and book a YC cabin...you will not regret it.

We sailed on Meraviglia in a Yacht Club balcony cabin.  The couch was next to the window.  It was very nice.

My first cruise was on MSC in their Yacht Club suite.  I am spoiled forever....

I will be cruising to New Zealand (14 days) in March 2022.  I am trying to decide between the Neptune suite and the Signature suite on Oosterdam.  Apart from the size of the suite are there any other compelling reasons to incur the additional cost?

I just booked this cabin for a Panama Canal cruise in Feb 2021.  We are a married couple with a brother in law coming along as a single.  The rep said the 2 bedroom suite has all the perks of the suite level.  The difference between this cabin and 2 club mini suites (so that we get the perks of the suite) was $200. the advantage was that we took the total for the suite and divided it by 3.  The single person did not have to pay the same (or close to it for a cabin.)  We were looking at booking a vista suite for us but once my BIL decided to join us, paying 2/3 of  the 2 bedroom suite was more economical for us.

I hope we will enjoy this cabin but will report on it once we take the trip.

I saw that a poster was wondering about remote control.....  There is a phone app where you can control it using your phone.  I mount my GoPro near my bird feeder, watch from inside my house on my phone and have gotten some GREAT pics!  Looking forward to bringing it on my cruise in April.  Here are a few of the birdfeeder pics...

Has anyone taken the MSC excursion to the Neolithic temples on Malta?  Do you get to walk around the temples and spend time or do you just drive by?  The website description is unclear.  

We are going to Marseilles in April on the Meraviglia.  I am having trouble deciding which excursion:  1) Avignon and panoramic tour of Marseilles; 2) Aix en Provence or 3)  Avignon and Aix en Provence.  HELP!
