Do they still allow you to bring on your own soda and how is the internet?

Thank you for this amazing review.

Thanks for the response.

I mostly see cabins underneath the Reflections Restaurant. Do you think I would hear noise in my cabin if I chose one of these cabins that are underneath this restaurant?
And which side is the port side?
-
Ah, I misread the title of the thread.:o
I would pick the earlier shuttle, just in case it is delayed, so you would have more time for any problems. Others, I am sure, would go with the later one. It is really up to you and your comfort level.
I think i'm leaning towards picking the earlier time.
So how does it work? I leave my cabin at 7:45 am and I then just leave the ship when I want? Like how do I make sure I make the 8:00-8:15 pick up time?
-
Yes, Freedom offers luggage valet but there is a deadline that you might have already missed. There should have been a form in your cabin to fill out and return. The form usually needs to be back at noon on Wednesday if I remember correctly.
Thanks for the info. I actually haven't done the cruise yet, but good to know they do offer this. I was just planning my shuttle (Cortrans) back to the airport and wondered if it was ok to choose the 8:45-9:00 pick-up time or should I chose the earlier time at 8:00-8:15.

Are you going to carry off all of your own bags? Then yes. You can wait.
If you are letting the ship's crew take your bags off and convey them to the terminal, you have to wait until your number is called, because your bags won't be out until then.
Does this ship do that service where they'll take your luggage and check them in for you at the airport (my flight is at 12:30) and you don't see them again until the airport at home?
I was guessing it did, so wasn't expecting to carry much off except some smaller bags. So that's why i'm not much of a hurry to be off at 6:30.

Don't want to self disembark at 6:30 am, so can I choose to leave on my own around 8:00-8:20 am?

We watched late afternoon for a bit, also at night, probably around 10ish.
Thanks for the response!
Looks like i'll go on ahead and buy that package.

We have surf + stream and can watch Netflix with no problem.
Thank you!
Can I ask when is it is that you watch Netflix? Do you watch anytime during the day? Just wondering if after returning from an excursion and I want to then just chill in my room, can I go out on my balcony and successfully watch Netflix?
Just keep thinking there might be all this buffering and logging out stuff.
-
Still keep debating if I should get the surf & stream package. Would like to be able to watch a TV show or movie (mostly late at night).
-
So, you guys are saying as of now, it's not worth it to upgrade to the surf & stream package if I want to watch youtube & Netflix? And maybe it's best to just stick with the cheaper surf package.
Can I even check what's going on my twitter timeline?

Do they have flat screen tvs?

This has been fun to read and the pics are great.
I have a question. I saw on the Crown Grill menu that you posted, you can get a 4 oz. lobster tail. In the pic, it looked like alot of tails. How many do you get exactly? It looked great and surprising that you get that much for $25?
-
Can you get a table for 2 or do you have to eat with others? I'm thinking about eating at one them when I first get on the ship.

Staying at Sleep Inn SeaTac and was wondering do we book shuttle to terminal while at the hotel or before we arrive?
And it's Seattle Express that has the best price at $12 per person to and from the terminal, right?
-
Thanks for the info, mapleleaves. Very helpful.

How early do I need to book this for a September cruise?
And to make sure, this hotel is near a monorail that takes you into downtown Seattle? And this hotel has shuttles that will take you to malls? And to the pier?
-
Thinking about taking a cruise to Alaska in late August or early September next year and i'm trying to figure out which balconies are mid ship & which balconies are the best and which balconies would be the worst to choose?
-
Is it true that if you want a table for 2, you're able to get it if you request it?
-
Great tips.
Quick question about seating at Jungle Fantasy. Is it true, if I want a table for 2, I must come early to get it? I do not want to sit at the big tables with other folks, so what can I do to ensure I get a table for 2?
-
At the Cirque show most tables are the long ones and you are seated with other families. I did see some smaller tables along the back wall, maybe that seated 4. You may be able to request those. Seating is first come, first served. I think the long tables, closest to the center, by the stage, have the best view.
Interesting. Thanks for responding.
And once again, this review is well done.

Love the review so far.
I have a question about the seating at the Cirque show. Can you choose your seats? I keep seeing pics of long tables and wonder are you stuck sitting at these tables with folks you don't know? Can you get a table for 2?
