  1. How rough the ride is highly dependent on the seas on the day of the trip. My husband and I have done this excursion more than five times. It is a great excursion but it is not a smooth ride. It is much smoother at the back of the boat but even there you will encounter some moderate bumps. I would recommend reaching out to captain bob directly. He is very responsive and will give you an honest response.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I know it is highly dependent on the seas. You can never predict Mother Nature. I appreciate you letting me know about the back of the boat. That helps. Hopefully someone with a bad back or a similar situation could comment. Just wondering how they made out.

    Thanks,

  2. My wife had a few ribs removed a couple of years ago. We are very interested in doing a speed boat tour with Soualiga Destinations. I am afraid it may be too rough for her. We have been river tubing and zip lining and she has not had any problems. How rough is the ride? I would think when running at a fast speed it would be pretty smooth. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

  3. I usually try to stay away from smoking threads. I do appreciate the question because I am a smoker and like to keep up with where I can smoke. My wife does not smoke. I do not smoke in the house. In the casino I play the tables. If no one is smoking at the table I will get up and go away from the table to smoke. If I go to play a slot and the person next to me is not smoking I will not smoke. It does bother me if I am playing at a slot first and am already smoking. Someone sits down next to me and complains about it. That does not seem right. I try to respect others. If RCCL was totally non smoking I would probably go on a line where you can smoke. My choice. If you choose to go on a line that allows smoking don't complain if people are following the rules. It was your choice to go on a line that allows smoking.

  4. We are trying to book a hotel for 1 night pre cruise. I was wondering what your thoughts are on the Hilton Marina 17th St, Embassy Suites 17th St, or the B Ocean Resort. All of them are around $ 140.00 with taxes and fees. We have stayed at Embassy suites and really liked it. We also like to try other things. If you have stayed at any of these places we were just wondering what your thoughts were.

    Thanks,

  5. The open booking OBC is based solely on length of cruise. A 5-7 day cruise gets $25.

It looks like you are correct. On the C & A site it states $ 50.00 for 7 nights but it looks like you have to do an actual booking with a specific sailing picked. That's what I get for not reading the small print. For the one booking where RCCL was giving a $ 100.00 SBC shouldn't it be $125.00 with the open booking?

  6. On our last cruise we purchased 2 open bookings thinking we would get the shipboard credits as explained in the program. We just booked a B2B cruise ( 2, 7 night cruises) and they gave us $ 25.00 for each segment. I thought it should be $50.00 per segment. My TA called and said she had great news that she was able to get $ 100.00 OBC for the first segment because of a new promotion they are having. Unfortunately the 2nd segment was still $ 25.00OBC. Shouldn't the 1st segment be $ 150.00 and the 2nd be $ 50.00. Any insight would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

  7. I am sorry to ask this question but I am still a little unclear. We have a cruise on carnival and princess booked. The Carnival cruise we have an OBC for $ 240.00. The same credit was offered on the Carnival site but we booked the cruise through a TA. Are we still eligible for the $ 50.00 Share Holder credit? The Princess Cruise we have no OBC's so I have no problems with that one.

Thanks in advanced for any help,

    Kevin
