My husband and I have done several cruises to Mexico/Caribbean. I’ve wanted to go on an Alaskan cruise for awhile but my hubby wasn’t too excited about the “less than tropical” temperatures. Tonight he gave the green light because we both now have cameras with nice zoom lenses and he’s excited about the photo opportunities.

My question is which ship, which sailing and what month do you recommend to make the most of the photo opportunities?

We are on Harmony the week after you and also in a GS. Can’t wait to read your review!

Hi, we are in a GS on Harmony in September. Does anyone know when the Coastal Kitchen opens on the first day aboard Harmony? When can we get our Sea Pass so we can go to the CK? Also, any updates on the whole drinks thing? I've read that they no longer offer complimentary wine/beer from 11 to 11?

Thanks for all the input. I was so fixated on getting a large balcony that I didn't pay attention to the fact that it was a connecting cabin. I don't know if I can change at this point. I'll look into it.

We are on the Allure sailing for the 24th and we are in a connecting cabin (ocean view with larger balcony). I am wondering if it will be noisier than if we had a standard cabin. Will we hear the neighbors more easily because of the connecting door?

Thanks, on Princess a couple of years ago, I had to get a sticker put on my card before I could use the package.

Can anyone explain how the unlimited drinks package works on the Allure of the Seas. I have prepaid the package. When I get on the ship, do I have to do anything special to start using the package or is it just ready to go?
