After many balconies, an inside on the breeze was the only option for our budget. It was very difficult to get used to it, seemed much smaller, not many places to set stuff down. Eating room service was a challenge.

Not having a table and chairs was a change too, hated to sit on the bed every time we wanted to sit.

Being fair skinned we usually spend quite a bit of time in the room, in the shade, or reading on the balcony. After that inside (my DHs first) we both agreed that we would continue to get the balconies in the future.

We fly to port and only take 1 or 2 7-8 day cruises a year.

A big box craft store should have a bag of shells. I've purchased them before to use on photo frames and scrapbooks

Sam Adams is also available in the same size can as fosters for the same price

I do the Neal Boortz $1 plan (save all your dollar bills throughout the year, don't spend them when you break a larger bill) so I have a large pile of bills by vacation time. I just take a stack of 1's and leave them in the safe & grab a few as I need them.

I do this as well! Makes saving a whole lot easier. Then the week we leave we go to bank and get bigger bills for all but 100 singles and use them as extra tips all week

Breeze 3/1 was a VIFP tumbler

Kiosk will break $100 to $20, $20 to $10, $10 to $5. Smaller than that you need a cashier

 

 

Used the kiosk everyday before heading off to port to break 100s into all smaller bills just like cruise queen said

Boarding was sometime after 11.. I don't remember the exact time. They did not let the Diamond and Platinum board first. There were hundreds of people in the waiting room and they just took everyone all at once.. Sad..

They did board diamond and platinum first. As we were walking on the balcony overlooking the winding lines of the main checkin lounge we could see all the different zone cards. We were escorted in 1 line from the captains lounge.

I just returned from the breeze and had a hard time with the pricing too, BUT then you get there and it's beautiful has so many new things, areas, restaurants, pubs, thrill theater, live music. The ship has a very good "flow" to the promanade deck, and I'd go again in a heartbeat. It was worth the extra cost to me. This was my hubby's first inside room due to the cost of the regular balcony rooms. We don't like the cove balcony rooms

I can't remember correct time of boarding in Miami but we left hotel on a 10:00 shuttle checked in and had to sit and wait for awhile.

The disembark process starts at about 7:00-:7:15 if I remember correctly. We placed luggage out at night and went to meet friends in MDR at 7:15 or 7:30 and they were already off the ship. Took shuttle to Fll and was at airport by 8:30 and couldn't check luggage in before 4 hours of flight.

They do have sam adams 16oz cans now. If I remember correctly its 5.75 per beer + 15% grat. Making a bucket 24.45. Use your free drink vifp coupon in MDR brunch and don't open them, enjoy later

All the balcony doors have locks. A deadbolt is positioned above or below the door handle. I'm not sure it's "childproof" but I do remember the door being hard to push open, and also may slam shut.

Wonder how everyone is doing without their luggage for another night.

Sometimes the "authorize" that days charges each night and it puts a hold on the card, after a few days the auth hold falls off and the final purchases are put through as a sale. The last couple charges are pretty close to the final $141 amount. Only off by $10 I think

Would the club soda fall under the bottomless bubbles program?

Never used this program so I'm really not sure what non alcoholic beverages it covers

Thanks for that info, very helpful! I understand the noise issue of starboard vs port, but wouldn't the cabin size and balcony on each side be the same configuration. Starboard is not an option, but Samm said they had stayed port side and didn't have a noise issue.

We did the valor trip out of San Juan. Very port intensive, we were not out late (10-11pm max) due to this fact and I'm a fairly light sleeper, had zero issues with noise below. I woke up to rain, and kids in hallway, but didn't hear a peep from below.
