How was the Fort Lauderdale airport when you were going home. We flew out of there in January and could not get into the Delta terminal until an hour prior to our flight.

Plus, isn't the $50 OBC for booking within 2 weeks tied to just one rate code ? If you get a price drop that doesn't include the $50 as part of the new fare code, don't you lose the $50 you got for booking within 2 weeks ? With the old special for booking while onboard, you got $100 OBC and it came off of any pricing that was available, including future price drops.

 

Can anyone confirm ?

That is how it worked for me. I found a lower price but lost the obvious that I received for booking within the two weeks.

We got off two weeks ago and they had come in early around 2:30 am for some maintenance repairs. The cruise after us left late also.

Just off the Vista and the future cruise desk was a waste of time. Asked for a certain room that I knew was available and she was trying to get me to take a different room. Then she wouldn’t take a gift card. I booked when I got home.

I have a shuttle pick up time scheduled for 9:30 on October 23rd. We will be getting off the Carnival Breeze and we will have priority debarkation. Will we be able to set our luggage out the night before or do we need to do self assisted. And if we do self assisted are there elevators in the terminal that we can use? (Escalators scare me especially with luggage). Thanks for your help.

My DH and I will be joining you on this cruise. I am real close to being ready, the only question is the luggage. We are not real sure it will last another cruise (between the airport luggage handlers and the port luggage handlers they don't last long). So the task for his weekend is to go out and look at luggage. I have everything else booked, and can't wait.

I will hold off on packing (when I can't wear summer clothes here in Cincinnati, I will start).;)

On the Liberty in January, we had the normal dining room assignments when we were in Aruba until 10.

We cruise out of San Juan every other year so we were lucky as we are going out of San Juan this year. Otherwise, we would be going back to Royal.

We decided to stay at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami. We are flying into Fort Lauderdale and we can use SAS to get to the hotel. Also, we will be here around 2 so we will have options of what to do in the afternoon. I may change if the Intercontinental rates go down.

We just booked this cruise. Looking into hotels for the night before, any suggestions?

Never had a problem and I also always ask for lime in my diet coke and they would always comply with my request.

When we were on the liberty on the January 24th sailing and we had a tug when we were leaving also.

The problem with checking it on your TV, is if you used any gift certifcates they do not show up on the TV listing. They will appear on the printout from the kiosk.

To use the carnival transportation the flight has to be after a certain time(it used to depend upon the ship for the time).

We are leaving on the Dream on the 18th, did you happen to notice if they were selling the Tervis mugs in the Red Frog or the Blue Iguana?

We are going to be staying in New Orleans prior to our cruise in May, and I saw that the Bayou Boogaloo is going on at that time. Has anyone gone to that and should we try to go to it. I see that we can take the street car and get within a couple of blocks. Is that a safe area of town that we can walk around?

The taxi will be a set fee and they have the published fees available at the airport. You will have to pay extra (it was $1 per bag) luggage.

I received one as well. It was in response to a question that I had emailed in. The survey was about the service I received for the question.

I emailed mine in and I only received the response that it would be 7 -10 days for them to respond. When I go into my reservation it was not showing but when I printed my cruise documents I saw that I had the on board credit.
