how are the contestants for the mixology contest on the valor chosen?
-
Sea Day 1-I was usually up by 8 and I would head up to the track and walk at least a mile. It is so nice to walk with the breeze in your face and look at the nice blue ocean. We had the buffet for breakfast. We watched the activities on deck and I also was picked to participated in the mixology contest. It was fun, didn't win, got 3rd. The hairy chest contest was next and it was also fun to watch. That evening we went to the comedy club. The first comedian was John Mulrooney and he was good . The next show was Jason Andors and he was just ok.
how are the contestants in the mixology contest chosen?

I saw this and thought it may interest some of you.
I'm a funeral director and I may have found a way to write my cruises off on my taxes, or maybe I can get a job with Carnival. (you have to have a sense of humor in this business)

several years ago, we took a tour in Progreso with a guy that was just starting up a guide business... he was an American, and I think his partner was also.... we saw the pink flamingos, went to xumal and then stopped at a beach club on the way back to the Mercado... this was NOT on a bus, but in a van.... any idea who it might be and if they are still in business?

any one have a suggestion on how I might get 6 copies of the pocket size map of the Freedom for a packet of information I am putting together for some cruisers going on the Freedom in the future? who would I need to contact at Carnival to get them to send me some pocket maps?
-
for those that have sailed on the Freedom recently... is the muster drill held outside or is it held in the main theatre?
-
You will be waiting a long time. The Freedom only does some 4/5 days in October/November 2015 and January/February 2016 to cover for the Triumph's longer cruises. So, you will have to wait until at least October for those Fun Times.
Thanks... guess I will have too wait...

I asked this on another string (scuba/snorkeling) but haven't had a reply... does any one know which dive company the Conquest uses on their stop in Belize?

does any one know which dive company Carnival Conquest uses in Belize? I know they pick you up directly from the ship and go to the dive operation by a smaller boat,,,

thanks for the hints, someone had posted something about a magnet sometime back... any ideas why I would need a magnet? and if so, what size?

I am going to surprise my wife and get a balcony cabin for our next cruise.... looking for hints/tips from persons with previous balcony room experiences... any tips out there? (this will be our 20th cruise, we just have never done a balcony before)

due to some mobility issues, I am trying to find an all inclusive beach club in Cozumel, (like Mr. Sanchos) that has access to the water via a stair or steps, NOT sandy beach... it is extremely difficult for me to walk out of the water(ocean), but I am able to climb a ladder or do steps (like at Chakanaab)... does any one know of such a place that offers an all inclusive package?
-
don't know that i have seen the whole thing all the way through... probably won't on the cruise either...let's see...casino vs. Frozen... yep, casino wins!!!

If they play Frozen, I'm jumping overboard.
looks like you might want to keep a life jacket handy!! lol...:)
