I don't think they do at all - the itinerary should make that clear, but usually they just dock in Colon. The taxes on the sailing would make that obvious as well.
Actually the itinerary says “ cruising the canal”. It doesn’t say how far. Colon is a separate item on the itinerary.

The only date is Feb 2nd 2021.

We’re contemplating an 11 day Panama Canal Cruise out of Tampa that also ends in Tampa. We were wondering how far through the canal the ship actually goes. All the way to the Pacific or just partly through.

The Triumph was our first and third cruise so it has wonderful memories for us. Have been on the Allure twice and Oasis once. Harmony’s sister ships.
This said, for us there is no comparison. Night and day the Harmony wins hands down.
-
Have done both numerous times and wouldn't rule out any cruise line if the itinerary, ship, and price all falls into line.

I have seen your other posts about this and can honestly say that in my 10 cruises on Celebrity I have never, ever seen anything like this, or crew not wanting to enforce rules with a particular *anything*.
I've never seen a child (or an adult) with a diaper in any of the pools or hot tubs.
With respect, I believe this was an isolated incident and it doesn't reflect on all cruises or all ships in the Celebrity family. I don't want our new fellow passengers to think this is a common or even rare occurrence.
We had this problem in the Adult only hot tub on the Allure. About a 12 year old girl and a diapered baby. They were non-English speaking and even after I expressed my disapproval, they just moved to the other side of the hot tub. Needless to say, we left. Was the only thing upsetting the entire cruise. The splashing, loud kid was bad enough, but a diapered infant?????

Hello,
We will be leaving on our first Celebrity cruise in a few days on the Sihouette out of Ft Lauderdale, heading to San Juan, St Kitts and St Maarten. All ports we've been to at least once.
We are a couple in our mid 50's yet we are still pretty active and do at times enjoy some nightlife (assuming we've had our nap lol).
You can see our cruise history below so we're just wondering if those of you who have experienced some of the cruises below may be able to let us know what may be different on Celebrity than what we've experienced in the past.
Thanks...

As someone who is extremely prone to motion sickness, I started off using the patch and it worked great but gave me vision problems.
I switched to a combination of Bonine and ginger pills and have never had a problem. Not sure if it's the combination that works or one of the meds on their own, but I'm not about to experiment. I understand the wrist bands are merely a placebo effect but have never tried them.

Hmmm...as I recall we had a bartender buy us all shots on the Explorer when he found out one of the couples just got engaged on board! It's pretty interesting to see 50-60+ year olds doing shots! LOL it was a great evening. (not because of that, just because of our celebration).
:D
It's really interesting to see the under 50 crowd doing shots!!! Lol

I like having a balcony for the following reasons:
1 - I like to be able to walk out and feel the weather in the morning and just before I go to bed at night to feel the air on my face when at sea
2 - I bring clothes pegs and attach swimsuits to chairs as a make shift clothesline
3 - great place for morning breakfast (room service) away from the crowds first thing in the morning
4 - good to have if you get quarantined or if you get seasick - the air helps with feeling better - I cant imagine an inside if I was sick
5 - Entertaining spot to watch the last minute dash for the ship prior to sail away at various ports
6 - great spot for book reader who wants a quiet private spot to enjoy a glass of wine and a good book.
If, however, you use the public spaces a lot and don't spend a lot of time in your cabin, the extra $$ may be better spent elsewhere (spa, drink package, special dinner, etc)
Hope this helps.
Exactly.
We did one cruise without a balcony and I seriously doubt we ever will again. So much nicer for all these reasons and more.

It was pretty well developed when we were there two years ago. I imagine it's even that more developed now. It all depends on what you want o do. Shop, beach, excursions, etc... I'll take it over Grand Cayman.
-
For me it lasts in varying degrees for anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks. I've heard that Bonine can help, but I kind of like it. Like being rocked to sleep at night.

I've only been on az Navigator and Oasis class but they have quite heavy sliding doors. Not sure a child could open them. A wedge to block might be a nave additional measure.

Being adults we should police ourselves. A 10-12 year old and an infant in an adult area is terrible parenting but not the full fault of royal Caribbean. It's a vacation so I'm sure they don't want to go around reminding people of rules 24/7
You're right that the parents never should have allowed this but since they did, who should be in charge of enforcing the rules if not the cruise line? They are the ONLY ones with the authority to so. If nothing else, it's a health risk, vacation or not.
-
In my opinion, they could improve with enforcing their own rules. Like keeping adult-only-areas on the ship child-free, no kids in specialty restaurants after 7pm, taking towels and belongings to towel-stations after 30 minutes etc.
But honestly, not much else comes to my mind, I love to cruise with RCCL.
Agreed. Last cruise we had a diapered infant in the adult only hot tub as well as it's topless 10-12 year old sister. Not cool at all.
-
This perfectly defines "first world problem".
-
For years I've been hearing about how tanzanite comes from one mine and it's running out so you had better buy it now! Please God, run out so the cruise lines stop pushing it.
-
I think a small token credit like $25 would be nice..
We once missed an entire port and we're given $25 on board credit which we felt was incredibly generous. Missing a couple of hours is worth perhaps a buck or two.

Actually, unopened milk cartons will keep fine for several days in the mini fridge. Probably a full week. I've done it on every cruise. Always have at least 5 or 6 in there and have never had one go bad. Never store opened ones, but why would you since they're so small?
-
I was just going to say the same thing. You definitely don't want to store milk in the room fridge.
I always store milk in the mini bar and it's just fine. Stays cool and fresh.
-
We've missed entire ports due to pre existing mechanical issues. Consider yourselves lucky.
-
Have never had one confiscated but I believe they are prohibited. As well a fans.
-
Loved it on The Allure. For our upcoming Oasis cruise, it's the only specialty restaurant we will bother with.
-
It's all good. Have been on some of the smallest and the largest. But to those of you who think the big ships are just too big and you've never even been on one, they are so big you can always find secluded and private areas. If you've never done it, perhaps you aren't the most qualified to express an opinion.
