We are flying in early for our cruise and are torn between where to stay. First choice is near Space Needle and spend time sightseeing, second would be to stay near SeaTac and take train into city daily. Trying to get transfers to hotel near Space Needle is expensive (looking at Shuttle Express). Please anyone from the area what should we do? TIA

what are the chances that if the cabanas are showing sold out for a cruise later this year that one becomes available? Is there a waiting list?

You will get your refund from Carnival. It may take a while. I was on the Halloween cruise that was cancelled and our cruise, port fees, and taxes were refunded to credit card within a few days. Our check for the OBC and meals took about a week and a half. I am still waiting for reimbursement for the items that i had to submit receipts for. We were told 3 weeks. There are a lot of people that are waiting on refunds and Carnival is working through them so please be patient.

How do they handle dining options on Alaskan cruises? Some of the ports are 1pm until 10pm; what happens to dinner?

Booking a Spa cabin will get the first 2 occupants wristbands that give you access to the special Cloud Nine heat rooms, saunas, whirlpool etc. Very much worth the few extra dollars you pay.Without the Spa cabin I think they charge a daily rate of $35 per person for day pass.

This! I also hope the Blue Jays win the wild card, that first round is going to be spectacular.
That would be a good rematch! Rougy is ready. My son went to the game last night and has tickets for tonight hoping to see a clinch of the West. The A's are failing us to be able to clinch at home. Houston up 4-1 in 6th.

I am reading different things here and would like clarification. Is CHEERS honored at HMC? When I was there before it was not but I have read on here recently it is. TIA

Are there signs at the Port to head to the water taxi to Klein Bonaire? On Klein Bonaire is there a place to biuy food/drinks or do we need to purchase our own before getting on water taxi? Do the taxis run every hour?
TIA

we are staying near the White House; I know is not far from Union Station but with luggage it will be a hassle to walk. I have been looking into Private Van Super Shuttle so we will have a little more time there. If we take cab to airport or train station then have to wait on train I think it will be more expense. Still trying to sort everything out. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Sailing into Baltimore and trying to find suggestions for 4 of us to get from the pier to a hotel in Washington DC. TIA

Do they offer massages on the island? I know we can't use s&s card but do they take credit card or only cash?
Any suggestions on what to do other than hang out at the beach?
-
Has anyone ever done this excursion that would care to give a few pointers? Should we bring water shoes or do they provide them? Is there time to enjoy the beach before or after?
TIA

Wanting to try this on next cruise. We are stopping in St Thomas and Puerto Rico. Which is better?

Just realized I will be turning Platinum on my next cruise. I purchased FTTF and now I am wondering if I should just cancel it. I won't need it will I?
-
We are thinking of booking this thru Carnival since it also includes transportation. For those that have taken this excursion, do you have time to visit Coki Beach afterwards?

We like a little of everything. Love the beach but since we will be on a cruise with 4 ports the beach in Miami is not a big deal. We are looking into the hop on hop off; USAA offers discount on some tours too.
we sail mid October so the weather should still be nice.

Haven't sailed out of Miami in many, many years. If FTTF shows sold out do they usually open up a few later? I know in Galveston most of the time they do but just checking.
-
we are arriving 2 days before cruise and have never been to Miami. We are staying near Bayside. Our question: would the Hop On/Hop Off bus be a good way to see local sights or can we get the same thing using Metrorail?
-
What is a good tome to arrive at Miami if we have FTTF? What about if we don't? We are staying in hotel near Bayside and trying to figure when to get a cab over there.
-
does the excursion for Sea Trek thru Carnival include transportation? That might be a cheaper way of going.
-
we are flying out of MIA and our flight is 11:05. Should we be okay if we do self assist?
-
We will be arriving Thursday late for a Saturday cruise so we have one full day in Miami. What are some of the "MUST DO'S"? We will be staying near Bayside Market. TIA
