Looking forward to your report on this trip.  We did the reverse trip with Tauck a few years ago, Budapest to Amsterdam, and loved the entire experience.

Thanks for the replies.  I did mean a sports coat, not a dinner jacket.

We will be cruising with Uniworld Paris to Normandy in August.

is a dinner jacket for men necessary for any dinner?  I know they say men may want to bring a jacket for the captains dinner, but we are trying to manage luggage weight restrictions and do not wish to pack a jacket unless absolutely necessary.
