Thank you, Dubbs, for this info. It will be worth a try.

Maybe see if someone is doing a live review?? Or the roll calls for up coming cruises and ask of someone will check and get back to you?
Thank you for this suggestion. I will keep an eye out for hopefully an upcoming live post.

In order to provide an alternate entertainment venue for older teens instead of roaming the ship after 10:00 p.m. can anyone tell me if an XBox can be connected to the TVs in the YC staterooms?
-
If you are in the YC can you still go to the buffet in the MDR for lunch or is there also a buffet in the YC dining room?

I am glad to see that others are also confused about this card. Hopefully someone can respond and clear up all the ambiguity surrounding this photo card.

We are booked into 4 staterooms on the Seaside in June 2018. Two grandsons will be in our stateroom. This is my question: since the photo card is per stateroom will I have access to any photos that these 2 grandsons are in and also photos that they are in with their siblings and parents (another stateroom) or cousins (booked in 2 other staterooms)?

Thank you for this info, Ashland. It sounds like they were willing to give you new seapass cards, not just provide duplicate room key passes. Were your entertainment reservations and drink packages put correctly on your new seapass cards?

Once on board the Harmony, family members in our group intend to request duplicate room keys and switch rooms. I noticed on the online check-in print-out that even though the staterooms involved in this switch are only 2 rooms apart that 2 different muster stations are assigned. I assume each individual must report to the muster station listed on the print-out, not the muster station assigned to the room he/she has moved to. Am I correct? I am assuming attendance is taken according to seapass card scan, not stateroom number.

I was wondering if taxi fares from Port Everglades have changed. In February our group divided up leaving the port. My husband and I went by taxi to the airport, another individual went by taxi to the Amtrak station and a third individual took a 3rd taxi to a hotel. Upon entering the taxis the meter registered $23.70. This amount never changed and is what each of us was charged. No more metering charges by distance?

Thank you for your suggestions. I'll let my grandsons take it from here.

My grandsons know they will not be allowed to roam the ship past their curfew and were wondering if they would be able to connect their Playstation 4 gaming console to the TV in the stateroom. Does anyone know the answer to this?

I just noticed that Delta has moved our flight departing FLL to an earlier time. Before I contact Delta about changing our reservation, can anyone who has recently disembarked from the Indy tell me approximately what time I should be able to get to the airport if we carry our own bags and leave the ship as soon as possible? I believe Indy is the only ship in port on June 7, 2015. Thanks for any info you can give me.

After reading on their website about OBC redemption, I have concluded that the OBC can only be applied to onboard purchases, not gratuities. Am I correct? If so, this has changed since my last cruise in June, 2013.

We were on the Jan. 18 sailing. This is not meant to be a review, just a few comments about our cruise.
We arrived at the port about 11:00. Because we had a Neptune Suite we were given priority boarding. Otherwise we would have been in group 10 to board. Boarding began at 11:35; we went to our stateroom and then to the Lido buffet for lunch. It was the easiest embarkation I have ever experienced on a ship.
Neptune Lounge:The concierges, Hazel and Michael, were wonderful. However, SORRY, but there are NO food items available other than what is under the circular plastic dome, with the exception of individual cereal boxes. There was a toaster sitting there in the morning but I never saw anyone using it. As a passenger I felt it put me in the position of a demanding individual to ask for something to toast from the concierge. Someone posted a few weeks ago that there were many items to choose from when the Carnival CEO was on board. Definitely not after he left the ship!
Condition of the ship: I felt it looked very good. Crew members were often cleaning and polishing. I did not see any worn areas.
Dining: I feel food preferences are very objective so I am not going to comment too much. However I felt vegetarian entree options outnumbered meat options.
One thing that surprised me was the silverware place settings. On previous cruises there were always several pieces of silverware at each place setting. Here, we each got one knife, one spoon and one fork. We were expected to keep and use the same fork for the appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. I felt it lowered the formal ambiance of the dining room. I was also surprised that nothing was said about both men and women wearing jeans to dinner in the dining room ( not on formal night).
Our room steward was wonderful and left us a towel animal every night which I did not expect.
We carried off our own luggage and had expedited disembarkation. It went very smoothly. We left the ship at 7:15 and were at the airport 30 minutes later.
Overall, we did enjoy our cruise but cutting back on Holland's part was also very noticeable.

Thank you for your responses. The no sales tax on an at sea delivery answered my question on how to respond when placing the order.
-
When I was in the process of purchasing this online I was given 2 delivery options: dining or (stateroom -at sea.) I didn't understand what these 2 choices meant. I thought the purchase would be automatically inputed onto my seacard.
-
Thanks for the info. I won't be expecting a can but will be hoping for one perhaps some of the time.

Can I only use the card ($50 value for $25) at bars or can I use the card for a soda to be served with my dinner in the MDR?
YC pool hours
in MSC Cruises
Posted
I’ve noticed on the daily programs that the various pools on Seaside vary closing times between 8, 9 and 10 p.m. The YC pool is not mentioned. What time does it close?
