Looking for advice on booking excursions thru NCL or directly with tour company. We have the $50 excursion credit, but still may end up pay more than if I booked w/tour company directly.  We are not snorklers (unfortunately) so looking at the Semi-Submarine glass bottom boat tour out of Roatan as a way to see some underwater sea life. Another option is the Glass Bottom Reef Explorer in Belize. 

I've done excursions on our Alaskan cruise with private companies and had no problems; they were well aware of ship departure times. Some companies on this cruise offer full refund if ship doesn't make that port for some reason (weather). Just looking for feedback on sticking with NCL sponsored excursions or purchasing on our own.
