The mardi gras was my first cruise in 1986 . 4 day out of florida, I didn't go on any of the tours and we were on a tight budget, When first saw her in port , I couldn't believe the size of her.Imagine what I would think today if I first saw the freedom of the sea.

Kanigeta, Are they charging you 200 per cent or are you getting a good rate, usually for a balcony they charge 200 per cent

Longer the cruise , better chance of getting a room alone.

even though it has work out great for me in the past, I will not do it again . I will pay the extra cost for a single room. there is no private moments for yourself.

I have try it 4 times. 3 times someone show up. they were 7 days cruise

and on my 14 days cruise no body show up so I had the room to my self.

The 3 times I share with someone it work out quite well. you set the rules on the first day.he goes his way and i go my way. And keep the noise down.and no visitors in the room. It work out very well. I have heard horror stories about some people experiences.with sharing. I have been lucky so far.

Usually I also cruise alone. i have try the share program a few times,

it went quite well. but sharing your stateroom with a stranger

is not fun , I am alone again next time in the fall. this time I have the stateroom to my self . i found the prices for a single person rate quite reasonable. I didn't know about the Prinsendam having single rooms.

I will definitely look into it for a future cruise.

let you pass at the border

Hi everybody. Since jan 1 all canadian need a passport if you wish to fly another country. having a passport makes life alot easier at the border.

I have cruise 13 times and I have never been upgraded yet.I have book

inside,outside AND SUPERIOR staterooms and it has never happen.

its the luck of the draw.

I like also HAL, There aren`t too many kids. You usually find them on 7 day cruises. I went 14 days last april on the ryndam, I didn`t see 1 child or teenager on board. EVen at 56 years old I am one of the younger one

on board.
