6/6 Alaska Cruise from Vancouver 

cancelled by us on 4/4

full refunds FINALLY 7/2

lots of stress now taken off our backs.

i hope everyone gets their refunds soon. 

I cancelled on 4/2 our grand princess Alaska cruise departing well today 6/6 from Vancouver to Whittier.was told full cruise fare, EZ air and insurance 100% to refunded.......  but they didn’t say when. Useless to call. Reps reading from script. 6k due. Wonder if I will get the interest they earned😳

I just want my 6k back from my 6/3 Alaska cruise. What are my chances?

It’s crazy but it’s about money. They were waiting Usa gov’t possibly money  and then move to next plan. I expect they will cancel Alaska through 7/1 and probably postpone restarting another month from the 60days they already have. 

Crazy that princess has not announced yet. RC and celebrity has and yet I still wait. Called princess and they are “ nothing official “

Why no official word from princess

I agree with the pause extension. No port is going to allow a mass of travelers until this passes and who knows when that will be. I am due out on a 6/6 Alaska Cruise,out of Vancouver. If the Canadian port closure is still active I assume a Seattle departure and a work around USA jones act can be done because bullshit walks and money talks.

any ad ice on canceling now vs just wait and see. Wife and I have been to Alaska and Alaska Cruise before but this is a 3week Vancouver-Cruise and drive around Alaska that we are looking forward too. 

Yes, that is my frustration. Our cruises cannot go on while the Canadian port closure  is in effect. Your cruise needs( by Usa law) to stop in Canada. Unless the rule is amended for the unique circumstances. Our cruise depends on starting in Vancouver. I understand princess is busy right now but I paid as did everyone else. I fret I won’t get an answer until end of April n my money is tied up until then.

Hi, I have a princess cruise scheduled to depart 6/6 from Vancouver and end 6/13 in anchorage. The news of Canada end this trip(or so it seems) rules dictate that a ship registered in a foreign country needs to port in 1 foreign country during a cruise in USA ports. Obviously, Vancouver would be the foreign port in this cruise. I called princess today and got through and was basically told they are dealing with the cruises cancelled in the 60 days of no cruise. I kindly reminded them that they have 6k of my money and that the cruise I booked cannot possibly happen...any ideas. Any hope. I know I will get my money back but damn....
