Has anyone ever pre-booked an excursion to make sure you had the spots and then cancelled on-board and then rebooked the same trip because of OBC that you weren't expecting to have.

Finally a post I can relate too. We will definitely try and geocache at every port. We got some on carribbean trips as well.

My question is where do those bottles have to be when you board? Can they be in your luggage or do you have to carry them on separate and hold onto them until you get in your room?

so can I hire you for a ride and save the rental car hassle, I see you are in south florida. (lol)

Can I make a 11:50am flight out of palm beach airport if we rent a car at at port everglades or fll and drive there? Don't want to be running or worrying to do it either, so safely make it?

We have a post dry dock reservation. There were 2 price drops before final payment, saving us around 500 total. Now the price is back to what it was before the price drops but I figure I made out pretty well catching both price drops.

Has anyone ever taken the tri-rail train from port everglades to the palm beach airport? How long did it take?, How hard was it to pull off? Or is there some other way to get from port to airport at a reasonable cost?

Have tried snorkeling their, and it is not good. On the bay side, you are very limited in area if you stay on the beaches they control. Not sure how far you can go out on the other side. They used to list snorkel gear as an excursion at some places. If you cant find it on a labaedee excursion i would guess they stopped that in that port. I would say try and snorkel at some other port.

When we first cruised our son was 8. He spent all of his time in Adventure Ocean. He loved every part of it. It won't be crowded when you are sailing because it is not a school vacation. The younger children are kept in the care of the workers and can only be signed out by the parents. you can do this whenever throughout the day as often as you want to sign her in or out. There is a meet and greet usually the first night so you can meet the staff and they will explain the program. They even have late night (slumber party) so mom and dad can enjoy night life. That was a few times during the week. Our kids did not cruise on oasis class, but the programs are the same on each ship, with nicer facilities on the newer ships. It is an awesome time and place for a child.

Did this a few years ago. When we awoke the morning after we sailed, it was snowing. I only had 1 sweater and wore it most of the week until I left it somewhere and someone else who was cold snatched it. Pants were needed to be outdoors. Also some areas were downright chilly where doors to the outside opened frequently. Pack a variety. Shorts were fine for the islands but the sea days were definitely not shorts temperatures. Will not do that time again because I like being outdoors and it was just plain cold 2 of 9 days.
