Starboard or port side on ncl gem going from ny to san juan, st thomas, st maartin and tortola. Which is best on a balcony?

As far as sightseeing not much difference. Leaving NY you will have the morning sun on the port side and afternoon on starboard. Returning vice versa.

Do you recall what other cruisers did it Tortola?

 

Other types if excursions?

Since it was raining when we arrived we did the island tour $20 per person $10 for small kids, 2 hour tour with 45 minutes at cane garden bay beach.We got lucky sun came out as soon as we got to the beach. If you took a taxi it was $8 per person each way.

I've got a question. My wife and I both have the UBP. Can I order 2 drinks (one for each of us) without her present? Or does she have to order hers and I have to order mine?
