An internal Juneau Borough email obtained by the Landmine confirms the ship is on its way to Alaska. According to the email the ship will arrive in Juneau around March 17. It also says that no one on the ship has tested positive for the virus. The ship is slowly making its way to Hawaii and will then head to Alaska. It will be tied up at the dock until the Alaska cruise season starts.
The ship is slowly transiting the Pacific and is planned to clear customs into the US (Honolulu) early this week. Holland America’s tentative plan is to bring the ship to Juneau to tie up to the AJ Dock with the about 400-500 crew on board and be here for 2-3 weeks before the Alaskan cruise season starts. Arrival is estimated to be around 3/17 or so. The arrival of the ship is still tentative, if it is confirmed, we will do public media outreach. It will be an unusual opportunity to welcome and host the crew visitors while they are here.

More news from Westerdam in Manila
PCG spokesman Commodore Armand Balilo said the only people on the Westerdam when it docked at Pier 15 of South Harbor were its 747 crew. There were no passengers on board.
“Out of the 747, more than 200 of them were Filipinos. But the Filipino crewmen were disappointed because none of the crew were given shore leave or clearance to disembark from the vessel,” Commodore Balilo said.

With 16 knot speed it takes 13-14 days sailing to Honolulu (5500 miles) so Westerdam should be there on 16th March

Vessel Finder is the most accurate tracker.

She'ss heading to Manila, should be there tomorrow.
Tracker is useless when ship is far from land. AIS can't reach her.
Not sure where she'll be sailing next but she will reach Alaska in the first half of May.

KPK Press Statement February 22, 2020 - Current Situation of Coronavirus Disease Infections (COVID-19) in Malaysia 22nd Case
The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) wishes to note that the 22nd case of an 83-year-old US citizen has shown remarkable improvement in health status. The patient is still being monitored at the hospital for a slight cough.
Earlier, according to the Press Statement by the Director General of Health on February 15, 2020, the 22nd case was detected using a thermal scanner upon arrival at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and was later referred to the Sungai Buloh Hospital.
- Clinical examination and chest x-ray examination confirm the patient has pneumonia (pneumonia)
- The patient was admitted to the isolation ward at the Sungai Buloh Hospital.
- Clinical oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal samples were taken. The COVID-19 validation test for both samples was performed twice by the Medical Research Institute (IMR) and both tests were positively validated on February 15, 2020.
- The case has been given antiviral treatment (lopinavir / Ritonavir) and oxygen assistance for its symptoms.
After more than 72 hours of treatment, the case has shown good health. Consequently, the COVID-19 validation test was performed 2 times with a 24-hour period for each test. Both of these repeated tests showed negative results.
This repeat detection test was performed to confirm that the COVID-19 case was cured and negative.

Hawaii announces its coronavirus tests from the CDC were faulty, and it points to a major gap in treating and stopping the spread of the virus
Beyond Hawaii, the CDC has admitted this week that some coronavirus test kits sent to laboratories around the country did not work properly.
The CDC announced last week that it had shipped 200 test kits to labs across the US, and 200 more to labs in other countries.
This might be the answer to the Positive Lady riddle ...

Somewhere im my previous posts there was the info from Cambodian media that Westerdam will sail out to sea to be back on Sunday for refueling 700 tons of oil.
And another thing - Cambodian media revealed the 83 yr lady's identity. Not sure if copied from Malaysian media but they made it public.

It is starting to look like the Malaysian test was incorrect, which casts a whole new light on the negative comments that have been made concerning the Westerdam passengers getting to go home, for example, but not limited to, in the media.
Really puzzling thing. I wonder if we'll ever find out what really happened.
In theory, all scenarios are possible.

747 crew members exactly.
All negative to Covid-19.
Ship will leave in a few days.
I guess they'll sail to US now

People from Amsterdam land at Schiphol airport Amsterdam: “We still don’t get any answers”
The aircraft had to make a stopover in Karachi (Pakistan), after it had been asked by the Turkish air traffic control to turn around. The return flight was organized by the shipping company, Holland-Amerika Lijn, in collaboration with the Dutch government.
“We received no explanation”
,, We were on the platform for hours. Nobody was allowed off board, nobody came in. We received no explanation whatsoever, “says one of the passengers on board, former diplomat Hans Slingerland van Bemmelen, who witnessed the” Corona adventure “on the Westerdam with his wife Joan from start to finish.
He is critical of the Dutch government, which in his eyes did not do enough to help stuck countrymen. ,, And why did our box unexpectedly turn to Karachi with only vague technical motives? Why was nobody allowed in or out for three hours, not even the authorities? What about refueling and flight crew work and rest times? We still get no answers. That is very unsatisfactory. We are of course happy to finally be back in the Netherlands, although we would have preferred to finish our four-week cruise in the Far East. ”

Four Hawaii residents returned home to the islands after their cruise ship, the MS Westerdam, docked in Cambodia last Thursday. The cruise ship had been turned away from several ports in Asia before being accepted at the Cambodia port. At least one of the ship’s passengers has been diagnosed with coronavirus.
.....
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention does not consider the four Hawaii residents to be at high risk for the illness. The Hawaii Department of Health told the residents, who are self-monitoring at home, to notify officials if they develop symptoms.
“We don’t anticipate that they were exposed to anyone who might have had the virus,” state Health Director Bruce Anderson said. “The passenger that was identified as having been infected with COVID-19 developed symptoms after leaving the ship so, again, probably wasn’t passing the virus onto others on the ship.”
