Bella, one phone call, two separate transactions from cancelled cruise to newly booked cruise, totally internal to Carnival.  I got two separate e-mails confirming them.

The only thing coming to me is refunding of a shore excursion.  Fun Shop purchases would also be refunded directly to the cruiser.

My pvp made it easy.  I had itemized all expenses I had paid, cruise fare, port fees, pre-paid grats, insurance, excursion.  It was all accounted for.

    Thank you

Your FCC will be based on your cruise rate only.

Taxes, fees, etc. are refundable items.

When I rebooked my pvp applied the FCC immediately and told me to watch for a second e-mail in a couple of days showing all refundable charges had been applied in a separate transaction.

Does this mean that your FCC was applied to the balance of your new cruise amount as the first transaction and then any refundable amounts/charges were applied to the new booking as a second transaction?  Or were your refundable amounts sent back to your credit card?  Thank you!

We were booked and fully paid for a 5/25/20 sailing and decided to move to a later June sailing without penalty.  However, even though it was the same amount of days, same cabin category and same ports on a different ship, there was a difference of almost $500 more per person due Carnival (cabin price, port taxes, insurance)🤑!  Not too happy with this, but we were not comfortable sailing in May since both of us are seniors with one of us having an underlying health condition.  We "gained" a $50 OBC for the sailing which has nothing to do with the change.

Hoping that our cabin pricing goes down a bit.

We are experiencing the same thing. Instead of partial refunds and FCC's,  I wish Carnival would just issue a voucher to us for a 7 day cruise with the same itinerary and booking to be used up til December 2021.  The cost of the rebooking for the cruise we have is an additional $1,000.

I agree, if people are choosing to cancel they should be given a full refund not FCC.  This way their money is there to do what they want with it.

While I applaud Carnival for extending an offer to cruisers, the FCC really does not work for our family.  Our cruise was booked around a college school schedule for 4 people.  We were set to cruise May 10th.  If I take the FCC and rebook for June or July, the prices are double what we paid costing $1,000 more out of pocket for the same trip.  The only other  time we possibly could go would be next March, but again, same cruise costs $1,000 more.  Wish they would just give us a FCC with no expiration.  I know we will cruise again and would love to use the FCC when it best works for us and not in a time frame with a deadline.  Of course, a full refund would be the best case scenario.  Now that the US State Department is urging people not to go, I fear that in the coming weeks or months other measures may take place to prevent people from cruising.  For those of you waiting to make your minds up whether or not to take the FCC what do you think with happen after March 31st?  Do you think Carnival will put another offer in place?

I recently purchase an excursion for my cruise in may. every now and then i get an email that i left something in my cart. when i check my cart, it says my cart is empty

So if this could not get funnier.....I tried all day yesterday to purchase the FTTF and after entering payment info it would give me the error message.  Late in the evening, I receive an email from Carnival stating that I still had an item in my "cart".  I got my hopes up in thinking just maybe they fixed the system only to find there was nothing in the cart.  Today, when I go on to try to purchase the FTTF, the screen just blips after I select "add to the cart" and goes not further.  Yes this system is terrible!

  6. We have cruised 6 years in a row with Carnival and have had FTTF every time but one.  We love FTTF and it works out well for our family.  Most of the time it has been sold out when i have booked our cruise and I find myself checking multiple times throughout the day trying to catch it when it becomes available.  With our current booking, the FTTF did not even appear as an option under shore excursions until today, when to my surprise it appeared at 6:30 am as I was getting ready for work.  I immediately added it to my cart and proceeded with my payment option.  It said it was processing and then I got a "error message" that read "something went wrong and your order was not processed.  "The shore excursion you are attempting to book is not available for all of the guests selected."  Of course, FTTF is purchased for the cabin and not on an individual basis so I was confused by this.  I called Carnival twice today and was told it is a glitch in the system and that FTTF in not available and is still sold out.  I cannot understand why it is still displayed with "add to the cart" option rather than showing "sold out, or the "add to cart" being removed.  I am convinced that I should just keep checking but i have to go through the whole process of adding credit card and processing to see if it is still available or not available.  Has anyone else ever had this happen? Thanks!
