  1. I cancelled my cruise on March 18th. I rebooked and received the refunded difference on May 18th. I had purchased $75 of cruise cash with an e-gift card and have not received it yet. I sent a dm to Carnival on twitter asking if I would get a physical gift card or another e-gift card. They told me an e-gift card by email. I called Carnival this morning and held for 30 minutes only to be transferred to the funshop extension because she said once a cruise is cancelled they can't see your funshop purchases. So before you hold a long time just choose the funshop when given the options on the phone. The lady at the funshop told me that I should look for a physical gift card unlike what I was told via twitter. She looked up my booking # to find out they had no address on file to send the card! Idk how that is possible but she took my address and my email and told be I'll receive an email confirmation when it's approved and it should take about 10 days. The two ladies I spoke with today were lovely but the amount of communication between Carnival its customers is seriously lacking.

  2. For the sailings they have canceled so far All Ships sailings between March 14 and April 9
Carnival Spirit April 10 and April 20, 2020, Carnival Radiance April 29, May 9, May 21, May 30, June 11. Carnival will honor this offer for any guests who were previously booked on these voyages and canceled their booking on or after March 6, 2020.

CARNIVAL CANCELED CRUISES: REFUND OPTION FORM

I'm guessing or hoping they'll extend the same offer when they announce further cancellations. I canceled and rebooked my April 18th Sunshine sailing a week ago. OBC would be much appreciated for all the stress.

  3. I booked an Ocean Suite on the Sunshine and just now saw that it includes:

    Priority check-in and boarding

Priority dinner reservations for select specialty restaurants

Priority main dining room time assignment (Early, Late or Your Time Dining)

    Priority debarkation at all ports

I heard this doesn't include your room being ready when you board. Do you think it's worth it to purchase FTTF just for that extra perk?

  4. I did called Tuesday night at 10:30pm to cancel and rebook my 4/18 sailing,  I waited about 15 minutes and then a survey about the service I received started playing and then disconnected. I called back and it took about 20 mins before I got a representative. She then put me on hold for 50 min while she "filled out a few forms for my FCC and talked to her supervisor" that survey stating playing softly under those ads they play while you're on hold and then the phone disconnected. She never called back. I called the next morning at 7 sharp and got through almost instantly. I don't remember the agents name but she was lovely and knew what she were doing. I had a cruise rebooked and everything explained to me in about 20 min and she never placed me on hold to do it. I was so paranoid about losing money but I actually ended up saving about $200 and getting a better room. Now sailing on 10/31, my birthday is the next day so it should a great time.
