Sounds like you did the Adventure Bound cruise out of Juneau down to Tracy Arm and you're right its one of our favorite memories of many cruises to Alaska.

I remember a great pie restaurant that we stopped at in the middle of nowhere on a bus on a Princess land tour coming from Copper River Princess near Wrangell-St. Elias National Park to Denali. I thought it was about 1/2 way on the very isolated Route 8 a mostly gravel road that we took to Denali. I can't remember name but I do remember that lovely ladies that owned it and their delicious pies. Does that sound familiar at all?

When we had an evening stop in Haines, there were locals at the pier that offered to take us for a reasonably priced tour. We saw several brown bears and cubs in the Chilkoot River and many eagles. It was an incredible evening and we have eagerly visited Haines many times since then by taking the ferry from Skagway.

Does RCCL still give onboard credit with 100 shares of stock? if so what is the process/address to send proof of ownership?

Thank you all for your input. I guess I was hoping that studio rooms for one would be 1/2 the price of a double room but it sounds like that's not the case. I actually like the Radiance class ships better than bigger ships but I didn't know they have any studio rooms. Thanks for info.

Any ideas on how to identify which are single cabins on the newer RC ships? Any single cabins on older RC ships?

You either have 340+ C&A points or are lucky to find one which RCI offers like that.
Thanks. Yes, I have 340+ points and get 150% but I have never seen RCI offer solo without supplement. Perhaps during the pandemic when I wasn't paying attention.

If booking a double-occupancy room for one person, you get one point for being in the room and an extra point for being in a double-occupancy room (even if no single supplement gets charged). [2 points per night]
If booking a single-occupancy room for one person, you get one point for being in the room. [1 point per night]If either of these scenarios were booked before September 30, 2021, for a sailing before December 31, 2022, the points earned would be doubled.
How can someone book a double occupancy room solo without a single supplement (ie 150% or 200%) getting charged???
Help me remember the name of a restaurant on the way to Denali!

The place we stopped in the middle of nowhere was not the above, They only sold pies, all kind of pies. In reading all I could, I think it closed several years ago.
