Interesting!  I just checked for a cruise we have booked (from FLL) and it shows MIA as a possibility for transfers.  Perhaps there really is no transfer for this particular sailing...but we've had bad information posted before from "Princess reps" (either phone or chat) that was outright wrong.

Check in your Cruise Personalizer *yourself* and make sure.

  2. We are new to Celebrity and having a question about the dining room options.  I am a very picky eater.  I know its a curse.  On other cruise lines they usually

have a couple basic meals they offer every night, like a steak, fettuccine alfredo. or a basic chicken option. I have tried to review some of the

menus and cannot really find that type of thing.  Maybe I am just not seeing the whole menu.  I am allergic to mushrooms, so quite a few of their meals have mushrooms in the sauces etc.  Everyone I travel with love the foo foo food but its not for me.  Thanks for any info.  Happy Cruising!!!!

  3. I bring a egg crate on all our trips.  It is a 3 inch crate that I have cut to cover my neck to knees.  I am able to roll it up and hold it together with velcro straps.  Without it I am always in pain and cannot sleep.  it rolls up to aprox 9 in diameter and about 20 inches long.  I tried getting egg crates on our ships but we were never able to get one. They brought extra comforters but they are useless.

  4. Does anyone have more information on this.  We leave in 3 days and planned on brining my 12 pack of Diet Pepsi,,,, I hate diet coke.  And my husband purchased two nice bottles of wine to take.  I know that in August I had reviewed the policy and it did not say anything about this.  Very frustrating.  This is our first Holland America and already I am sorry we have chosen them.  Been very frustrating on the lack of info on port changes.  Every cruise line we have every been on allows small amounts of pop and 1 bottle of wine each.

How are they charging you for this $20 per bottle cork fee.  At the port they are going to stop everything while going thru the xray machine and charge you??

  5. Ok maybe I am dense or just so exhausted from trying to figure out this whole testing thing, but I have a question. I want to order tests for my husband and my self as a backup to CVS test I have scheduled.  The Holland America site takes me to the company to order them and they show .....

"The home test (including two tests) costs $69.99 when it is purchased via the Optum Store".

Do the two tests for $69 cover both my husband and myself since it includes two tests.  Or do I have to order 2 sets of two. So $140 for both of us.  So confused and have read all the sites with info and nothing states what to do.  I need to order them so they get here in time... please help.
