thanks for the info! just to clarify, you didn't end up using the hello baby monitor because you just used the BabyCam app, right? did you try the hello baby monitor at all and see that it worked? thinking of getting one for travel and just want to make sure it would work.

We actually used the Hello Baby monitor more because it had night vision and our tablet we used as the camera did not, and we were mostly using it at night while we were in the room.  Also, because we had both and I wanted to test both. The BabyCam app would have worked for everything, even in room if it had night vision or we left a nightlight on in the baby's room/closet lol.

  2. The BabyCam app installed on two devices, one as the camera and one as the receiver, worked perfect connected to ship wifi even without buying the internet package.  Worked anywhere on the ship.  We honestly didn't need to use it, but it worked!!  We also had this local monitor that we used within the room only and worked great, it stopped working when you got about 5 cabins away.  We got a Jr. Suite so the baby crib was in the closet and let us shut the door but still monitor if he fell asleep.  https://a.co/d/cY9D1vz

  3. We'll be on your cruise too (1/21) with a 6 month old, and with family that has a 2 and ~4 year old.  We haven't cruised with kids before so WONDERing the same things about how much nanny time we can actually book.  If you have cruised with kids before and have any advice we'll take it.  Hope we all have a great time!

I love the baby tux!!! My grandson started cruising at 6 months and wore his baby tux to MDR as he slept in his stroller for most of dinner service. He always wears a tux for formal nights. He is 8 now and loves his cruise time, especially the MDR because they spoil him and treat him like royalty. He gets served first and never waits for anything ♥️ Enjoy your cruise [emoji568]

Did they always have room for the stoller in the MDR?  Our little guy will only be 6 months, so worried the high chair will be too big.  Was also thinking about one of those little chairs that hooks on the side of the table, but hard to know if it will fit, depends on the thickness of the table.

The text says once winners are confirmed, they will be listed in the document.

"The Winner List for this promotion will be posted here after the promotion end date listed in the Official Rules and once all winners have been selected and confirmed"

Good point, hopefully that means they really are giving away 7 cruises.

Thanks for all the information and the lovely photos!

We hope to be on Apex in August and I have a very practical question. In order to fly home (and we leave on the day of disembarking) we need to have a certificate of a negative PCR test which had been done 72 hours (or less) before the flight.

I assume that we are not the only ones who will need that..

So my question is - is there a possibility to do the test on the ship? Or in the last port (which would be Mykonos), as the last day of cruising is a "sea day"?

    TIA

Celebrity is providing that test for you onboard, it is included.  They give each passenger a test before boarding at port and this second one a day or two before getting off the ship for reentry into Greece and into the U.S.  Greece and the U.S. require an antigen test not a PCR test, sounds like they will be able to provide the test your home country requires: Travel Requirements for Cruise from Athens | Celebrity Cruises

I got an email from Celebrity this week saying our port stop in Santorini on the 7/17 sailing was extended to 10pm. If so, does anyone have any recommendations for catching the sunset?

Yes, we booked a dinner reservation at Argo restaurant (they only had 7pm) in Fira on July 14th.  I think sunset is around 8:30pm.  We have never been there, hope it is good.

    - many crew received their second shot on 6/13 (per social media posts). There is also unsubstantiated speculation that most only have gotten their first. Either way, the ship is sailing with crew not fully protected and under the guise of full vaccination.

This should make us hopeful that they will lift the mask requirement 2 weeks later on 6/28!
