You can only get the 24 hours pass on board - not in the planner pre-cruise.

You can get about 15 min of free internet by clicking on the App/Play store link on the screen where you would set up internet.

Thank you! That would be great to get a free 15 minutes. I likely need less that 5. Is that pretty standard? I guess I’ll try that first before we buy a day pass.

Another option, if you're in port on the last day, is to find Wi-Fi on land somewhere (follow the crew, they'll know where to go) and check in for your flights there.

Thank you! Unfortunately it’s a sea day so that’s not an option.

  3. We’ll be on Adventure of the Seas in March and not looking to get internet for the whole cruise. However, I’d like to get it the day before we disembark to be able to check in for our flights. Is this on option? I can’t find a single day option on the planner or Royals website. TIA

I loved allure too and not driving.

I doubt there will be a lot fewer kids on the 8 day because of the 1 extra day, but it's a smaller ship with less for kids to do imo. The big oasis class imo are more geared to families.

Do you do a excursion in each port. That could add up. I booked the twister boat for my cozumel stop next may. It has a inclusive beach but I've been wanting to do that particular boat a while so booked it. I'm tired of the western ports and I've done them more than 5 times lol.

I also have adventure eastern and southern booked, 8 days. For the ports. PR virgin islands etc. I know adventure isnt as new and as nice as harmony imo. I like the bigger ships.

I vote for harmony because you can drive. ..though I agree about adventure for the ports, not the ship.

When we’ve done the Mexico route, we’ve mixed Cozumel with go on our own and a combo of Mr Sanchos types. Costa Maya we’ve done the ruins, stayed in port went to the crab place. Roatan we’ve only done Little French Key. Right now in Labadee we have booked the zipline. Looking at a multi adventure of atv/horse riding in DR and snorkeling with turtles in St Croix.

  5. Hello! Our family (2 adults and a 14 yo) are split on our upcoming Spring Break cruise (March 2024). We are currently booked in and ocean view on the 8 night on adventure out of Port Canaveral. Initially booked due to price and ports we’ve not experienced (DR & Virgin Islands). For this cruise we’re required to fly. With the Black Friday sales we can do a 7 night on Harmony in a boardwalk balcony however, we’ve done those ports over 5 times. Cheaper price but doesn’t require a flight. Cruised Allure last spring break and the husband loved it, so he wants the Harmony. Daughter and I lean towards new ports, however I’m concerned with an 8 night it’ll be less kids cruising for her to make friends with. I apologize for the novel, but any one with teens sailed the 8 night and them not be bored? The Harmony does look nice, but what excited new things are there to do in Roatan and Cozumel?

  6. This will be our 5th Royal cruise, but first one with the credit card. We just received it when booking. We have 15k points, which says is the minimum for a room upgrade. If we select it, will we be able to upgrade from our current ocean view to a balcony? I can’t imagine that it would be that easy, as the balcony is current over $1K more. Do we have to call to find out? I appreciate any expertise or prior experience in the matter.

Try logging out and logging back into the Cruise Planner.  Also, you might want to re-purchase the bev pkg and zipline separately.

Cruise Planner purchases are tedious IMO, as I don't know why they can't just refund the difference from the original purchase.

Thank you! Purchasing separately it accepted it.

Morning stretch classes and abs classes are free.  The following have a cost, Yoga, Pilates, Boot Camp and Cycle.

The cost is $20 per class.  If you plan on attending 3 or more, you can get an unlimited pass, or a 3 visit pass for less $.

The classes are not always listed in the HUB app, or Fun Times.  The instructor will have a print out of the weeks classes, where you can take a picture of it.

Most of the classes vary day to day, and are not sometimes "true" to the genre of the description.  Some instructors are great, others not so much.

My advise would be to talk to the instructor before hand, and maybe attend one, before you sign up for more.

Thank you very much for this info! I would have signed up for 3 to save money before trying one out.

  9. Sailing on the Dream in 2 weeks and trying to find the cost of fitness classes. This will be our 7th cruise, but first since my recent fitness journey. I prefer structured workouts, so would prefer classes. I recall seeing them on previous cruises, but never looked at the price because I wasn’t interest. Also, do they have them daily, or just sea days? Thanks in advance!

  10. I can’t locate this information on Carnivals website. I purchased the Cheers package and the internet plan at the same time. I initially thought my husband would be the only one with a phone that we coould video our daughter with, so I purchased it for him. However, I now have a new device and want the purchased plan switch to me. When I try to cancel and rebook online it wants me to cancel the cheers and the internet. How does Carnival distinguish which passenger is using wifi? I don’t want us both to have it, as he won’t use it and would rather leave his phone on the safe at all times. I appreciate any help.
