  1. I stated from the beginning it was my experiece as evidently i don't know everyones experiences, that is the only thing that bugged me is YOU did NOt understand that fact. This is one Missouiran talking to another.

I also know that each ship and port does things differrently. Mine was in Miami and FLL only, All Carnival.

Other people are more then welcome to get on here and tell us their experiences as it might come in handy some day.

  2. When you book a B2B the ship and cabin person already knows this and you should not have to tell anyone any thing. Like you said nice and easy.I always get my B2B where i don't have to change cabins.

Just be where they tell you, and when they tell, you and you should have no problems what so ever. They will not lead you to customs till all of the other passangers are off the shiip, then you go, then they start letting the new people on. Been there, and done that, so many times and will again in September.

    Good luck and happy cruising.

  3. You will get a notice in your cabin the night before telling you what time, and where to meet morning of debark.

Carnival employees will escort you through customs and back onto the ship. you don't go any further then that. They also will give you a new card. If you also want your old card go to guest services and pick it up.

So far on return to my cabin there has been a gift. Don't know if cause i was Gold, or later platinum, but nice any way.

    Hope this helps.

  4. Did you ask for recommendation on who to contact? I did and that is why they sugessted CSA.

I found they always want to know who is special needs. On the Holland i had to fill out a paper called SRI giving the info on what my needs were. ON the NCL that i am goingon in March they didn't have me fill out a paper but did ask in an email what they were and scooter, or chair, what kind of batteries. That was about it. I haven't traveled enough to know what the other lines require.:p

  5. Hi, I booked through Carevacations or CSA last October, told them what i wanted and why. They did an excellent job of getting exactly what i needed. Spendy? Some $265 for ten days but it was there and waitig, and easy to charge, I went every where with it. We went to the Southern Carribean. No problems any place.

This time i was going to rent again for the Mexican Riviera but it is more costly (Pacific Coast) $325 for eight days so i opted to buy..

I also was going to have a standard room but found out the door is only 23" wide and the HC is 30. I had a hard time getting it in the HC room and it was only 20" wide so imagine what it would be like it they should do that again. WoWie!!!

There is no parking them anyplace except your stateroom. Fire hazzards and other handicap people have a hard time gteting arouond them if left iin elevator areas or hallways.

I sure am sorry to here that you got a bum company. I do hope they will resolve all of this to your liking. Who did you cruiseline company suggest? Mine was the CSA, I was on Holland. They really work with the handicap/ Good luck.
