Sounds like starting adding back Butlers as they can get them.
Our butler (Liam) told us the are adding butlers back to cover the Sky Suites. One to be added this week and another next week. Ramping back up.

We checked in a few minutes after midnight Eastern. Earliest was 11:30. We were in the Retreat. Boarded at 10:57 and in the suite (EV) at 11:10.

We had some rough nights as well as days at sea. Heard that we left Ft. Lauderdale the day before several ships couldn't get out or in due to the weather. Hope you have smooth sailing the rest of the trip!
Voyager of the Seas was in Cozumel today after skipping Costa Maya due to wind. I doubt if the tenders will be running when we get to Grand Cayman.

Had the Caymus in Fine Cut last night (Ascent). Bill was $21 and change after the $17 with premium bev package.I didn't notice the price but I'm figuring $35 a glass. No Decoy for the room when we boarded. Got La Crema instead along with a Cherry Pie. Could have had the Decoy delivered later but stuck with the La Crema. Haven't open it yet.

I think it is always helpful to identify which suite one is buying, and not just stating "upper suite." There are differences even with these.
In my four Celebrity cruises to date, two in an Edge Villa and two in an Iconic, the arrival and check in was really nice.
I was asked every time by shoreside when I planned to arrive. Separate luggage drop off was nice. No lines.
However, both times in the Iconic I was greeted by and walked on by the Retreat manager, who introduced the butler once in my room.
In the case of the Edge Villas, met by and walked on by the butler.
Now have three new cruises booked in Iconics. Love the service. Love those rooms.
Boarded for Edge Villa on Sunday at T25 in Port Everglades (Ascent). Met by the Retreat Manager and assigned an escort. Very pleasant. Escorted to the EV which was ready. Never even sat down in the Retreat Embarkation Lounge. Wine selections already in place. Chiller already full of the items I'd requested from the Shoreside Retreat Concierge. 2nd time in an EV after 2 times in a PH on the Constellation. T25 rocks for upper level suites!

Been really rocking and rolling, especially noticeable at night. Made it into Grand Cayman with a rainy start but enjoyed the plunge pool on the balcony when the sun came out later.
Tried Le Petit Chef for the first time last night. Cute but I can see why people say one and done. What dishes do you recommend at Le Voyage?
Put in our first round of laundry yesterday morning as butler says it’s unlimited for us. Suite perks page on Celebrity’s site says it’s only for a couple bags per trip. He also says that thermal suite access is unlimited but we haven’t made it to the spa to check. Web site says only Aqua Class get spa included.
Asked about bridge or engine control room tours and butler said that suite perk “stopped last week” but we were welcome to book the paid behind the scenes tour.
Stacked pillows and hard wooden boards don’t make for a comfy head when you forget they are there trying to rest your head against the headboard.
Sometimes you just have to laugh at moments like this - we were talking with the butler about whether the monogrammed pajamas he was offering came any bigger and he offered size 2x. We agreed to that when he had already moved on to asking about monogram choices. As a result, Al’s pajama set is now monogrammed with XAL.
For future reference, here is what the sofa bed looks like made up at night.
Thanks for that image of the sofa bed. Sitting on one now but couldn't figure out how it works. Should have asked the butler (duh). First night out of Port Everglades was rough and we camped out downstairs until well out to sea.

You assumed correctly... we will be boarding the Silhouette at Ft Lauderdale. Thank you all for your explanations.
On board Ascent now. Left from T25 at PE. Upper level suite so we went past the 'regular' luggage dropoff. On board at 10:57. In the suite at 11:10.

Sorry we missed you! Fine Cut tonight at 6. I've run into several people from the social media RC. Had a couple up to the EV for a peek.

I've done Blu for breakfast on the Constellation when in the PH. I'm not much on their lunch/dinner menu. Butler arranged it.

Not sure if the sign said Retreat/Zenith, but it certainly said Retreat and Zeniths are able to use the Retreat entrance.
Celebrity includes this image with the upper level suites placard. Not a great photo but it's the best I have. Placard works wonders. We are in an EV again in two weeks!

There is one SS location that I think would have been unsuitable and that’s the suite on each deck that shares a wall with the end rooms of the MC.
I watched our ship like a hawk (Ascent). Those Sky Suites next to the MC were this last to fill. I assume they went to Suite Guarantee or Move Up. They filled when MU's went out.

Now, 24 days out, the cruise is sold out and isn’t even listed on their website. My only hope is last minute cancellations (which do happen)
I was freaking out because I saw Move Ups for that 1/28 sailing before ours for 1/21. I heard from the Shoreside Retreat Concierge a couple of days ago. He refunded six nights of specialty dining ($600 in OBC and $100+ to my credit card) and rebooked than as gratis.

I’ve noticed a trend lately where move up bids, especially for the higher priced staterooms occurred more than a month before the sailing
Sky Suite to Edge Villa 26 days out. I was surprised it was so early. There were three EV's still available. I guess they wanted to sell my Sky Suite.

This confirms that the Premium Beverage package is still a room amenity of upper suites, which is often asked. Thanks.
Just won a Sky Suite to Edge Villa Move Up. A Shoreside Retreat Concierge refunded $600 in OBC I'd prepaid for specialty dining and rebooked as complimentary. Several emails showing cancellations arrived before that. I was freaking out! Looks fine and they indicated I'd receive a call next week.

I bow to anyone that has upgraded from less than a SS and to an upper suite as they have real knowledge.
I just won a Move Up from Sky Suite to Edge Villa for our sailing next month. I received an email from the Shoreside Retreat Concierge refunding the $600 in OBC I'd prepaid towards six nights of specialty dining! The email indicated I'd get a call next week. Email excerpt below:
Guests in our Royal Suites and above receive unlimited complimentary specialty dining. As a result I have canceled some of your paying specialty dining reservations and secured them complimentary directly in their respective reservation system. Because of that these restaurants will no longer appear in your calendar.
These are as follow: Table for 2 6pm:
01/22 Eden
01/25 Eden
0126 Roof top Garden Grill
01/27 Fine Cuts.
I have not yet canceled the following 2:
01/23 Fine cuts 6pm
01/24 Roof top Garden grill
But will do the same for them next week.
We look forward to welcoming you onboard the Celebrity Ascent!
Sincerely,
