Funny to see this now as I was on this sailing! LoL
-
Just off of the Reflection today and was in a Sky Suite. We used Michael’s Club a lot.

Did not get my points. Sent an email in so hopefully that will be resolved. That the best way?

Has anyone reported getting the benefits of Classic tier without having cruised, and solely by PUPs? I have been curious about this for some time. I recognize the tiers are described in most places based on points, but the terms suggest otherwise.
Yes, I got my father and step mom to sign up for CC before their sailing and for PUPs. I had to walk them through it but they were able to get 2 points each before staining and sailed their first ever Celeb cruise as Classic.

I really think this is a step backwards and lessens the value of a Premium line that Celeb is. Especially when they are trying to feel more like a luxury line with their ship in a ship moves. It seems like a money grab and short sighted.

I have always brooked Concierge and taken advantage most every perk. Best are the following that we have used a lot:
-Expanded room service breakfast menu
-Canapes/Cheese
-Embarkation lunch
-Bottle(s) of sparkling wine*
-Velour bathrobes
*We use this one almost daily, we just ask for more and they bring it 🙂
I like to get the extra 2 points per night as well. The placement of the rooms are nice and really if you use the perks I think it is worth the minor upgrade in price.

Just got my status match approved but did not notice the fine print that the sailing must be before March 31, so I don’t get the Deep Blue Extras. The email did say I can get the $100 bonus to Bar Tab (vs $50 I assume), but not sure I need $700 in Bar Tab (got the $300 for the promo that was running when I booked).

I asked the doctor today, but no such luck. Maritime rules apparently stipulate 10 days, regardless of of symptoms or (negative) tests.
Thanks for the update! Bummer they will not but still good to know for everyone.

I can only attest to my own experiences of course, but I’ve been checked twice a day by medical on the Constellation, as well as receiving 3-5 phone calls a day from Guest Relations and the Hotel Manager et al. asking if there’s anything they can do for me.
Food has been quite good (albeit served in cardboard boxes). Room service has taken 30 to 60 minutes from ordering to delivery. They know my breakfast preferences, my coffee preferences etc by now.
I have no, absolutely no, quarrels with how Celebrity have taken care of me. I’m bored, I’m restless, and I can’t wait for my quarantine/isolation to end, but all of that is out of Celebity’s hands. They follow the regulations to the letter, and I respect that.
Any chance for a covid test to get out of quarantine?

Any covid cases yet?

Guest relations are really doing their very best to make sure I’m as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. I asked if it was possible to get a bottle of champagne to keep in the minibar fridge, and after some deliberations they sent me a quite decent bottle. Two (plastic) glasses as well.
Whether this is down to me having the premium package, or because I was in a suite? Can’t say, but I’m not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Sunset seemed an apt moment to celebrate that I’m more or less symptom free.
Great to hear that you are feeling better!

Who is the captain right now on the Edge?
-
Any guess on how many total rooms that is?
-
There a total of number of passengers on this sailing?
-
If you feel 100% can you ask for a retest to get out of quarantine? (Assuming enough time) Asking this since the new 5 day CDC “guidelines” came out.
Also are they still announcing how many positive cases and if so how many so far have been reported?

I am going to be with 5 others on the same ship/cruise. Right now we are still going but we will make a go/no go call in 15 days. We want to see how Celebrity handles things. But you really have to go with what you are comfortable with.
As for asking, like the other responder said, can't hurt to ask. Worst case you still have the FCC.

Is that $29 for 2 bags per person or for 2 bags per room?
