I just watched a video where they stated you can order an appetizer OR pizza and a Pasta OR Secondi (but not both).

    Can someone confirm?

Can you link to the video? Wonder if they were using a Latitudes platinum and above dinner coupon (which limits number of courses) as opposed to specialty dining package.....

Cabin 9216 would be the balcony behind the slide not the one where the chairs are so its not as close to the exit.  The sliding door in the picture is from the master bedroom and there is another door facing outwards toward the ocean that is off of the living space.

Understand, just posted best picture I could find of the area and its relationship to the slide. As UKstages says different people will have different priorities, but I would personally look for a different cabin.

Check out Huahine Private. We had a great island tour with Janou. She will customize the tour based on your preferences.

We can second this recommendation for anybody who might be interested in a small group private tour / shore excursion in Huahine. We spent two full days with Janou this year while visiting on the Paul Gauguin cruise ship; once in early June and again in late September. As Dbld777 says, the great thing about Janou's tour is that it can be structured in any way that you like with a wide variety of possible options provided on her website. She is quick to respond to requests and questions and is also happy to make changes to tour outline on the day of the tour if needed or desired.

  4. Sixthman, owned by NCL, runs the themed cruises on the Pearl. I've done over a dozen of their charters and they have a great product: shows run on time with good sound and visuals.  On the cruises I've done they cover the main pool so that people can stand in front of the main stage but on the Broadway site I saw a picture showing main pool is uncovered. Spa runs as usual. Latitude perks are mostly in effect although a few are not. Food is same but often close Le Bistro and the smaller main dining room for use by artists and crew.

You may become a little more agitated with it when you see that you can’t find a seat anywhere else where you can have a drink because the outdoor spaces are all closed / unusable due to gale force winds and there already wasn’t a huge deal of indoor space to begin with.....

Never said there was only one acceptable response, just said what ours would be. In our case, next stop would be the heated loungers with a view in the thermal spa area.

  6. Guess you could try calling the ship directly and ask to be connected to shore excursion desk (+47 2367-8858 or +47 2367 8859). Although I've never tried it, my level of confidence that you would be successful and get on an excursion waitlist before boarding the ship is pretty low.

  7. Taxi or private transfer from Papeete airport to downtown ferry terminal.

Kon Tiki Boutique Hotel across street from Papeete ferry terminal if need to spend the night in Papeete.

Terevau (or Aramiti) ferry to Moorea: both companies operate in same terminal but one schedule may fit your schedule better than the other.

Rental car in Moorea across from ferry terminal (if desire).

    Moorea fun.

Ferry back to Papeete. Very short walk from ferry terminal to Paul Gauguin.

I saw that sign one day during the (brief) lunch period, but they certainly weren't serving what you show in the picture, which looks like pizza. They were serving as @dexddd suggests: some inch-thick bread with a meagre amount of cheese and some other topping sprinkled on top. Calling it "pizza" is a stretch....

Different strokes for different folks but it sounds like the pizza described in a recent Prima review by OrangeCatRamblers: "We had a quick buffet snack of focaccia pizza. Do not miss this! It's only available at lunch and it's an A+++ pizza."
