The itinerary does not show hours in port. Do they give you that information after booking? For instance, how long were you in Cozumel? I am looking at the 5 night to Key West and Cozumel.

Just curious if I can book my next cruise onboard Celebrity to Alaska, sailing with Royal Caribbean (we will have kids with us so wanted a little more family activites)? Plus they have the Pre/Post tour itineraries. Would that still give the extra OBC as well?

Well, we decided to go for it...we board the Silhouette this Friday for 21 days back to back. We have the option to cancel the second leg while on board. I will check this blog daily stating Saturday and answer any questions anyone has. We are OK if some shows cancelled and ports called off. As long as the food is good and the beer flows, we are ok.
Ill be there along with you! Looking forward to this trip!!!

Does RC offer a drink package? When would I add that to my booking? How much does it cost for the alcohol package?

Here’s a thread to assist. It will make interesting reading and reduce your gullible target rating.

Thank you for that read! I will stick with shopping locally.

First timer question: what exactly is a production show? I am scheduled to sail this Friday. Is there still entertainment at this time? (I just read that the orchestra and Cardinals are out and most likely will be for my cruise).

I hear a lot of people tend to buy jewelry at ports cruising. Are there actually good deals on jewelry? Is it moreso on diamonds, gold or it depends?

Our 5 day cruise now only has 1 port stop...
If you don't mind me asking, what ports were you scheduled to go to. Other than Nassau. I have a cruise coming up and trying to get an idea of who has been denying port.

I believe somewhere in this post there is something about getting FCC for each day in quarantine on the ship also.
Yes. I did find that. After doing so more research, I found it in the Cruise Ticket Contract as well. Thank you!

I believe everything in that area is open.
By the way, we are in St. Maarten today with no apparent issues.
Thank you for the updates!!! Looking forward to St Maarten!

Do you know if everything in the spa/sauna area is open?

New cruiser. Scheduled to leave Jan 14th on Silhouette. Still excited but have a question. I am aware that an itinerary can change at the discretion of the cruise line/ports. I’ve seen a few ships lose one port and gain another. However, what would happen if majority of ports close / or not accept ships and for them to not be replaced? Would the cruise issue prorated FCC? (I’ve heard and read these next few weeks could get worse in terms of spread with Omicron - just weighing options)
From what I’ve read, it seems St Marteen, St Lucia, Barbados and Antigua are open for business. I did see that St Kitts recently turned a ship away.

Thank you for your post. I read that they will issue a FCC for the time impacted. Is this only for additionally incurred fees, or is this just for having to be quarantined for part of your vacation?
I am scheduled to go Jan 14th. My upcoming cruise is a big expense as most are. I am ok with masks, and possible port changes, but if i were to get quarantined and be out all of that money (even though still sounds like they cared for you very nice), that would be a hard pill to swallow. This is actually the only thing that has me on the fence of cancelling or not.

Thank you for your help doing this! I am sure you will keep us updated of any deviations in itinerary. I saw another ship was changed from visiting St Kitts to a Sea Day.

Sorry to hear your positive but glad to hear your symptoms are mild. Just curious as to what happens now? Do you get refunded at all? Or a future cruise credit? I am scheduled to leave on the 14th to Southern Caribbean. It’s a huge expense to be quarantined. This is the first cruise and most expensive vacation my husband and I have ever been on. So excited but getting a bit nervous about being out the money with no vacation.

As a new cruiser- Are you able to pack a small soft cooler and bring with you off and on the boat?
Just off 5 day on the Islander
