  1. They had wanted to do away with it for some time and it hasn't been done since Covid. The stewards get redeployed on other jobs during the afternoon/evening. You can/do still get the chocolates, fresh towels if you specifically request them. They will also come in to put down any Pullman beds but it's not a traditional second clean/service of the room

  2. We were in A726 a few years ago but my mother in law was in A724 which is identical to the cabin you are mentioning. It was perfectly adequate in size, and the balcony is nice enough. However they have recently installed canopies above the balconies to prevent the incessant soot falling that Britannia suffers from. Also (and this really does put me off going on that deck again) the noise of furniture scraping from the sunset bar above you really is relentless at all hours of the day so provided you enjoy being woken up at 5am when the crew tidy up the bar for the day ahead I would personally avoid and go lower down

  3. We were on Iona for the Christmas and New Year cruise in one of the Aft suites on Deck 11; we got to know a man on his own in one of the single balcony cabins. We had a look in his room and it was absolutely tiny and you cannot sling a cat in them - avoid if possible - it really is worth paying extra to have a double cabin
