Thanks for your quick response. We were supposed to be leaving on her today for many btb's but we had to cancel because of the virus. We go on her every winter. HAVE A GREAT TIME with calm seas and great weather.

Be sure to see them PIPER the are very good!! Go early in the cruise because you will want to see them again. Dan
I see on the webcam you the ship hasn’t left yet. Do you know what time the ANTHEM will be leaving Bayonne?

I understand Diamond Plus members will now get 5 drinks per day (maximum value $13 each).
We don't drink alcohol but love bottled water. Do you think they would give us a larger bottle of water instead of the smaller 16 oz. bottle for one voucher? Seems only fair.- 4

I read on a couple of Facebook sites as well as a YouTube vloger that a first round of crew members are being sent home from the Oasis and the Harmony. It surprised the vloger as he had time left on his contract and felt safe on the well sanitized ship with no one sick. Don’t know about the others. SAD TO READ THIS!!!

Yesterday I went on the RC site to book the three shows for our June 6, 2019 cruise on the ANTHEM OF THE SEAS ... THE GIFT, SPECTRA'S CABARET and WE WILL ROCK YOU. I was really surprised to see that WWRY has NO later time (8:00 or thereafter) for a performance. The two nighttime shows are each at 6:30 pm on June 12th and June 13th and an afternoon performance at 2:30 pm on June 13th. This makes it really impossible for early diners at 5:30 to make the show in the evening and later diners late for their 8:00 dinner reservation.
We recently did 48 days (5 btb cruises) on the ANTHEM from 1/26-3/15/19 and there was always one night the show was performed at 8:00 pm on all five cruises. We thought this time schedule might have been a typographical error and spent a lot of time talking to three different individuals on RC who all said that this was the correct new time. VERY DISAPPOINTING. We were told to voice our complaint at ROYALGUESTRELATIONS@RCCL.COM.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE QUICK RESPONSE!

Could anyone please give us the deposit fee for future booked cruises on board and what the OBC will be for reserving a balcony room?
Thanks!

SInce its refitting, does anyone know if Diamond Plus are allowed in the new Concierge Clubon the upper deck?
-
On your profile page you pick your bonus gift preference. My husband and I are each Diamond Plus. Can you each get a bottle of wine or only one per cabin?

Does anyone know if there are any buses to the Brooklyn Cruise terminal from Putnam, Dutchess Counties or Danbury, CT area? We know Yankee Trails has one out of Newburg to the Bayonne/Cape Liberty terminal but they don't go to Brooklyn.

We haven't been on Cunard in 14 years. We will be cruising on the QM2 next month and have a couple of questions that maybe someone could help us with.
Firstly ... My husband prefers to not take his tuxedo and wear dark suits for the formal nights. What is the percentage of men wearing tuxedos onboard?
Secondly ... Are there internet packages offered for the cruise? If so, what are the prices and is there a discount if you reserve them in advance on-line before you board?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

Thanks so much for your speedy reply. We really appreciate it.
Yes, Anthem now follows the traditional policy of having 2 shipwide formal nights on a 7 day cruise. -
When the Anthem had Dynamic Dining, you dressed formally for the Grande restaurant. Now that the dining is back to classic are there assigned formal nights in the dining room?

Maybe some one might know an answer for this ...
We have booked a 28 day Norwegian Fjords round trip cruise from NY for July 6-28. It is actually 3 btb cruises but booked as one long one.
As Diamond members we are entitled to 8 hours of free internet on a cruise. Would that be 8 hours for the 28 days or 8 hours each cruise giving us 24 hours over the 28 days?
-
Well, see you next year. :D We will get on with you on Jan. 24. We are only doing a B2B.
That will be great! We heard wonderful things about the Grandeur!
-
Sounds like a trip you will remember for sure!! So did you actually end up with TWO 50% off next cruise options since you were on both sailings that issued these as compensation??
Yes... Very pleased about this compensation!
-
You have had a tough 4 cruises.
Do you plan to do it again next year?
MOST DEFINITELY.... DRIVING TO BALTIMORE FROM NY ... THEN 4 BTBs ON THE GRANDEUR OF THE SEAS!

We are having quite an adventure with our yearly 4 back to back winter cruises this winter ...
Our FIRST SEGMENT left a day late because of the big snowstorm in NY in late January. The Captain cancelled us going to the WESTERN Caribbean and rerouted us to the EASTERN ports.
SECOND SEGMENT was the BIG STORM and we lost 2 days of our 7 day planned cruise. RCI shuttled us and other btb cruisers to the Times Square Intercontinental Hotel in NYC for two nights with very generous food allowances and then returned us to the Anthem.
THIRD SEGMENT - no problems except for about 1400 kids onboard because of mid-winter break. Most were well behaved!
Now our FOURTH SEGMENT the Captain has decided to skip two Caribbean ports (Barbados and St. Kitts) and return to Cape Liberty two days earlier than scheduled because of another storm brewing off of Cape Hatteras. Besides that, there is a really serious noro-virus outbreak onboard. So over those 2 days back in Bayonne, the ship will really be sanitized thoroughly before it sails again on Friday for a 3 day cruise to nowhere.
ROYAL CARIBBEAN has been very good in compensating all the passengers for all the inconveniences they are experiencing. Despite all that has happened, we have had a GREAT TIME on our winter cruise. After all, these have all been just "luxury problems" and there are much more serious things happening to people in the world than losing a few days on a cruise.
BRAVO ROYAL CARIBBEAN FOR KEEPING ALL YOUR PASSENGERS SAFE!

We have been on the ship since Jan.26th doing 4 btb cruises. We were told erroneously earlier that the next cruise was cancelled. The entertainers, Cruise Director and a supervisor from Customer Service ENSURED us that their latest update is that THERE WILL BE A 2/13 CRUISE. No propeller was damaged AS RUMORED. Repairs can be done at Bayonne. Royal is putting us btb cruisers up at a hotel in Manhattan for two nights. HOPE THIS IS TRUE!!!

Thanks for your very thorough review of the Lanai cabins. From what you posted, it seems that all the cabins that are right below the life boats are Lanai ones. This is always where I would seek out a chair so there would be some shade overhead. Oh well, I guess I will have to see where I can sit in the future.

We never cruised with Mike Connaghan as our cruise director but cruised with him when he was in the cruise staff assisting the CD. He was so much fun and we have heard great things about what a fantastic Cruise Director he has become.
We have also cruised a couple of times with his lovely wife Leah who, I believe, is now a future cruise consultant. They are a lovely couple and hopefully we will get to cruise with them again some day on another "DAM" ship!!!

Another vote from us for Susan Woods.
Secondly, we like J.T. Watters who was a lot of fun to cruise with especially at Trivia when we were on the msPRINSENDAM in Nov/Dec last year.
We also like Doug Dunnell but understand he is not with HAL anymore.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your very informative narrative of this cruise. It was so kind of you to take the time to post the Compass and all the many pictures. We were supposed to be on the ANTHEM for our annual winter cruising but had to cancel because of health issues. Have a safe trip home and enjoy all your future travels.
