  1. Has anyone ever had a "partial" CruiseNext certificate? Somehow. - and we are not sure how, possibly as a result of our recent Escape to Encore switch - both my wife and I have these on our accounts, and when we tried to use them on a booking, the system threw an error for the NCL agent, and they said we could not use them as they were partial. So we seem to have CruiseNext that we can't actually use! We have contacted CruiseNext, but still waiting on a reply. Even stranger, today we noticed that if we view these certificates via the NCL app, they show as full value (£199), but via the website they still show the lower, partial values. Very strange.

  2. Thanks for the info.  After a bit more reading it sounds like there may be at least 2 types of FCC - regular and bonus.  The cruise fare only restriction and one-off use it or lose it suggests ours has been registered as bonus FCC.  That's my take anyway, it's all a bit confusing.

  3. We priced the cruise with base fare, flights, taxes, free at sea and service charges.  When the FCC was applied the system only deducted up to the base fare.  The agent double-checked and confirmed that it could not be used on the other items.  This also meant we had FCC left over and apparently this then gets lost.  Be interested in experience of others.

  4. We were on the cancelled 9th April Escape sailing and switched to Encore. As part of the switch we received FCC of 100% of the voyage fare. Just been talking to NCL to price-up another cruise to use the FCC and were a bit surprised to hear we can only use the FCC on base voyage fare. We had originally thought it could also be used on flights, taxes etc, but apparently not. The Peace of Mind FCC list seems to include all these things, so is this different?

  5. Just making our Plan B in case our 9th April Escape cruise is cancelled.  If we try to get on another ship will we have any chance with restaurant bookings or excursions given we are last minute and it's Easter-busy?  Bit of a mess as we are traveling from UK and have second week plans in Orlando.  Thanks in advance.
