Thanks to both of you for your quick replies.  My wife and I are sailing on Jan. 21 out of San Juan.  We are looking to book a Mediterranean cruise if we enjoy Explora; I believe we will do so.

At Sea, How are you able to see bookings?  I don't see the option on the website; are you a TA?  Sailing Explora 1 in January.  Cheers

Extremely grateful for your offer!  We are looking to purchase a stainless Daytona in with either a white or black dial.  If neither are offered for sale, we would like to purchase a stainless GMT sub with red and blue bezel (Pepsi nickname) or the black and blue bezel (Batman nickname).  Thank you in advance and we so appreciate you sharing your experience on Explora.  

My wife would like to purchase a Rolex for our anniversary cruise in January.  Has anyone purchased onboard and does the shop stock popular models?  Thank you in advance.

Asking if the Rolex shop has inventory to sell? Specifically, does the shop still pick submariner, GMT and Daytona models?  Again, very appreciative of you and all you’ve shared on Explora l.

LOL and well played.  Thank you for visiting Rolex.  Unfortunate the solarium pool is closed for maintenance; presume it was scheduled in advance as it makes little sense to close the pool to guests in poor weather.  I look forward to your balanced reports and wish you a fantastic remainder of your cruise. 

Whipsnade, As you've been generous enough with your time to answer questions about Explora while on your "journey", have you had the opportunity to stop in the Rolex boutique and, if so, does the shop have inventory including submariners/Daytonas?  Thank you again for your informative posts.

Celebrity is attracting a younger demographic with the new Edge class ships, but "younger" is a relative term.  Our cruises with Celebrity over the past year have been almost completely devoid of children and the demographic skews heavily toward mid-to-late 40's thru early 70's.  My wife and I are in our mid-50's and tend to feel quite young onboard Celebrity. 

I have a very good relationship with my Rolex AD. Luxury, you may be surprised at the ease with which you are able to purchase in Dubai.  My curiosity about the Explora shop relates to Rolex indicating there would be controls on the inventory purchase per passenger cabin/suite. My understanding is this is a company owned store which may result in proper inventory of a number of styles.
