I got 5% after calling for my first cruise. 🤷🏼♂️
What number did you call to do that, was it the main number?

Anyone have photos of 8205 on Meraviglia?

Does anyone have any recent dinner menus for the MDR on Mera?

Sailing from Port Canaveral at the end of November, and my original embarkation time was 3:00pm. I just looked at the app again, and now it says “your embarkation time will be announced soon”
How soon can we expect? I’m trying to arrange transportation from the airport.
my cabin has still not been assigned, although I expect that to happen way closer to sailing -

Sleeping with the door open is a HUGE no-no. Did you know that in doing so, you deactivate the a/c in your surrounding staterooms thereby potentially negatively impacting your fellow cruise passengers? I have first hand experience with this recently on Seashore. Our next door neighbors slept with their balcony door open and consequently our AC was off. It was miserable at night and there was nothing I could do about it. The concierge seemed unwilling to say anything to the guests and so we just suffered. No exaggeration. Not trying to tell you what to do but awareness is key. We are on the Mera in November for a 4 nighter as well. We booked an inside YC cabin. Lol. Maybe there’s hope in having a cool room.
Oh I’m so sorry, I definitely didn’t know that to be the case. I wouldn’t want to hinder upon anyone else’s sleeping, so maybe I’ll just sleep outside on the balcony 🤣 I just live in southwest Florida where the air is hot and still, and I’m looking forward to living in the breeze !

Wow! This is a blast from the past. The Grandeur was my first ever cruise when I was 15. This was in 2004. I thought I had read that this ship was retired? I was heartbroken when I saw that. But anyway, if it’s not, it’s obviously been a long time since I’ve been on it and I was young, but it was beautiful and holds a dear place in my heart.

I plan to buy a bucket of beer and carry it around with me 🤣

I will be cruising solo on a quick 4 nighter on the Meraviglia out of Cape Canaveral. I was wondering if there are any “secrets” or tips to know about.
for example, where is a nice quiet spot to read a book?
what bars/ restaurants have the coolest spots to sit and maybe some good chicken wings?
I will not be on yacht club and specifically looking for spots not in yacht club
thanks!

Such a good problem to have! Definitely can be used on excursions or the casino. Maybe you can buy a cute child a gelato 😊

How strict are the scheduled embarkation times at this port? My flight comes in very early
morning and I was given a 3pm embarkation time.

TBH, if you would do it if 245 then what is another 245 to savour the experience? Then you'd know for sure if you wanted to repeat it on a longer cruise in the future! Treat yourself, you deserve to do so and the inside would be perfectly adequate for a single person. 😉
I mean, it would be more than double than what I paid for a balcony. And this was just a “quick inexpensive getaway” for me and that would totally negate that. So yes, going to pass.

OK, it's definitely not worth it at that rate IMHO.
Agreed. I wish there was an option to just upgrade for one person, considering that’s what I am. Oh well

An inside YC would knock any other lower class of cabin out the park. Drink is included.
Also, I was assigned a 3pm embarkation time for my current booking. Would yacht club give me The option to board right at 11am?

Even though it is not listed there as one of the perks? Also, which drink package does it include?
could you please tell me the added benefits aside from what is listed there? Thank you

I have booked a Bella balcony on Meraviglia for November, and received the email for possible upgrades. Honestly, none of these look appealing to me. Specifically, the yacht club interior. I looked at the perks and it included “free Wi-Fi” which I have already purchased a Wi-Fi package. Also, I always was under the impression that yacht club included free drinks, which I am not seeing as one of the perks listed. So I’m not sure honestly what I would be getting by going from a balcony to an interior aside
from having access to different areas of the ship. I will add the email below.
also, with the balcony aurora, it does not include the drink package. So what exactly does it get me? A better balcony room and option for breakfast delivery?
im brand new to this line so if I’m missing something please let me know 😊 I’m thinking I will not place bids for any of these offers.
oh! And one more question. Are these rates based on double occupancy? I am just one person in the state room, so will my bid be charged twice based on double occupancy?

Hello! So I understand that the yacht club on this line is the highest level experience. I will be flying in from NY before I go home to Naples just for a quick 4 nighter cruise. I’m looking to read my book in different places, listen to music, watch shows, eat and look at the sea. I’m not a “fancy” person and I am very happy with the little things.
I am seeing a lot of comments on here basically saying that if you take the Bella, it is not guaranteed to be a great cruise. I’m a firm believer that a cruise is what you make of it, and it’s hard to have a bad time on a cruise. Based on the things I listed above, is there anything that I am missing by getting the Bella experience as opposed to a higher up? Thank you -

What experience did you book? YC and Aurea have priority embarkation. They differ in the way they work. YC is personally escorted by a butler whereas Aurea guests have to alert the staff of their status to be shown where to go.

Welcome to CC.
They typically after restart have not been enforcing the times and not unusual to have three times given week of sailing via text, email, online.
I guess what surprised me is that you are flying if you live in Florida.
Thank you! Yes, and I’m flying into Orlando after a week in NY 😊

I’ll be sailing on the Meraviglia out of Port Canaveral. I just logged in and see they gave me an embarkation time of 3pm. My flight is landing at 10:10am. Will they allow me To board early, or will I have to sit there for several hours?

I did the 4 day cruise out of CC 2 months ago.
1. I was seated at MDR table by myself. I did not ask. It just happen.
2. Sure you can purchase bucket of beer for yourself.
3. All shows are complimentary.
4. Not sure. I booked 1 level up and booked room number at same time.
As for the internet, I think if you book before getting on the ship, it might be a tad cheaper. 1 got it for 1 day. Think it cost me $35.
Thank you! I’m looking forward to being a solo cruiser. It’s my mental health retreat 😊

45 day check in
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
I have a question regarding the midnight check in 45 days prior to the cruise. Is it “ship time” or “departure port” time? I live in EST, am leaving from Seattle, PST, but at the 45 day mark the ship will be somewhere in Australia. So will our
check in time be PST or Australian time based on where the ship is that day? Thanks!
