    We hadn't considered the immigration/customs rules for visitors staying overnight.  We've all seen pier-runners in the Caribbean, and assumed that they could catch up to the ship at the next port (assuming they could find transportation in time).

    Hi. I know this thread is a few months old, but wondering how this turned out for you? I’m thinking of doing the same (getting off in Santorini and staying for a few days). Were you allowed to do this? We’re not trying to catch back up to the ship since it’s the last port on our itinerary - just heading home from Santorini.
