  1. You really think they are going to check in and board 4000+ people in 2 hours? How will the driving around the pier handle that? They are banking on people showing up earlier and waiting around. I’m happy to wait in the car in the parking garage :)

Our friends "got there" at 1pm but waited in the car line for about 40 minutes.;p

  2. just got off the Anthem on Nov 11, 2017. It was my first time buying a drink pkg (ultimate) and it was the highlight of my entire trip!!!! i hope RCL keeps the Ultimate drink pkg at the current price for a long time. It includes bottled water ( ex. order a drink and they will give you up to 2 free bottles of water). Drinks can be up to $13, anything over, you will be charged the difference. It also includes top shelf liquor like Hennessey, Remy Martin, Grey goose...etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i could'nt believe it, but you can order double shots of them at once!!!!. It also works on ordering multiple drinks at the Bionic Bar.

Hi Eric, I thought it was great too! I hope you didn't get sick... some of my travel companions did and had to stay in their room. Course with what they had, they weren't going anywhere anyway!

  3. Just got off of Anthem with the drink package. Once you get on board you can use your boarding pass for drinks until you get your seapass card. They had a card in the room where you could order Evian and other beverages to your room however so far as I could tell you had to pay for it - not included in the package.

From the first day on I would get a bottle of water here and there throughout the day and bring it back so we had water in the room. I guess you could drink from the tap but I felt more comfortable with the bottles (or fill up your own bottle in the windjammer).

Your drink package does not include any beverages you want with room service (as noted above). To add some info to the room service charge is that its per delivery, not per order. So if 4 of you ordered lunch it would still be $7.95.

Overall I was happy with the purchase of it. If you enjoy several beverages, as I do, it makes sense. Cocktails are $7-12 each and beers are $7.25 (I believe) for domestic and bottled water is $3.25. A few beers throughout the day and few cocktails in the evenings I made out on the deal.

Can't speak to the refreshment package directly, but the other couple we were with had it for their kids and they seemed happy with it.

    Hope that helps :)

  4. Hello all!

I'm trying to absorb all of the info on this, so sorry if I'm just misunderstanding or this has been answered. First time going Diamond AND since they added drink packages... it's been a while!

I'm cruising on Allure in November and in the planner it says the drink package is $46 (before gratuity) and notes "Price displayed reflects 20% savings from onboard prices." which I assume means 20% less than if I purchased the package onboard the ship.

Now I also see that Diamond members get 20% off the package as well on board. So does that essentially mean if I buy now it's 20% off onboard prices and is $46... BUT if I wait and buy onboard and get the Diamond 20% off, it would still be $46? Either way, same price I guess?

    Thank you so much!!
