  1. We are also new to drink packages; my husband and I both got the Classic Drink Package for our Summit sailing in June.

I reviewed the information about what's included, but we still have questions about speciality drinks such as pina coladas--do this generally fall under the $9 limit? Are there any pitfalls to know about--e.g., things that seem like the would be included in the Classic package but aren't?

I'm not a huge drinker, so I am sure I could make do with daily Malibu Bay Breezes. :D

There is a list on Celebrity website that is very specific as to what is included in each package. When we were on in Nov, you could not get cans of pop anymore with the Classic package, just tap soda. The premium package definitely has better wines and beers as well as the more expensive liquor, so if u upgrade, be sure to specify what liquor you want in your drinks, or you will receive the standard. Also, you can get Evian and vitamin water with the premium package

  2. Gee, maybe they will fix the alarm in cabin 6001 now that they are going to be inspected. We had an awesome experience on 4/2/17, where only our alarm went off for 75 minutes straight, with them least response from staff I have ever seen on Celebrity. We will go on Cruise Critic and post our Celebrity Summit review in the next few days. Suffice it to say, it was a miserable cruise. If we. Had not been flying to Florida immediately after and going on the Royal Princess, I would have been disgusted. We are seriously rethinking our future bookings with Celebrity

  3. Have spent soooo much time reading posts/threads about both of these tour companies and cannot decide which one to book with for our stop in Barbados in February. We plan on doing the 12 person catamaran with the turtle stop. I don't think I would go wrong with either one of them. I do have a question for anyone who has been on either of these excursions. Does either one of these stop at a beach at the end? Not real clear on where they stop for lunch. Any input positive or negative is appreciated. Thanks~

Calabaza is better operated, owner sails with you. Best value captain Ron . Silvermoon is a good value

  4. SHIP: ECLIPSE

    CABIN #: 1512

    DECK #: 11

    CLASS: A2

    AREA: FORWARD

    BED NEAR:

QUIET?: NO, NOISE STARTING DAILY 6AM FROM TREADMILLS ABOVE, stops around 10pm gym closes

BALCONY VIEW: Very good no overhang

    BALCONY SIZE: average

WIND A PROBLEM?: average wind noise, quiet with door closed

    SOOT A PROBLEM?: NO

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Treadmill noise is a big problem especially when people run on them. Staff tried blocking the noise by disabling treadmills in the morning didn't solve problem, still excessive gym noise. A deaf person would love this room. Otherwise avoid it! FYI: I have a deaf daughter.
