So post signs all over the room not to trip on the pulled out couch, problem solved.

I’ve been on over 20 cruises and stayed in almost every category.  NCL is more like Royal and Carnival than not.  Personally, I am happy with the one day room check.  On Carnival, you can even call housekeeping yourself and request an extra service. You just hit the housekeeping button on the phone.  I don’t need to be that pampered.  Cruises are still a very money friendly way to travel, imo.  I do think the new NCL ships are gorgeous.

I have to say it never occurred to me someone could/would search reserved cabin occupancy numbers.  I guess I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope for the best.

FWIW, I choose my cabin based on it's proximity to the elevators because of mobility issues.  Is there any consideration under those circumstances?  If so, who would I need to contact?

As a recent widow, I have a hard time choosing my cabin near my family unless we book really early. If a cabin sleeps more than two, I cannot book it.  I hate it, but understand it. And I am sure I would be moved if I was allowed to book.

Yes, all cabins must be linked is correct. They are listed on same page in your cruise planner, however, you do have to click on each booking individually to check them in to select a time. That's why I had each booking open on a separate tab on my computer, so I could toggle between them quickly and get the same check in time for all. I didn't see anywhere you could check multiple cabins in simultaneously.

I must not be explaining it correctly.  All three cruises showed up on one page and as I clicked on each one, I just filled in the info and requested the same check-in time.  It was super easy because I had all of the info written down.  Sorry if I was unclear.
